Really enjoying A Realm Reborn. In terms of gameplay it is your typical MMO but the story/characters/quests are miles better than XIII, XIII-2. If they can make something like this then it gives me hope that they can give us another really good game if they put a bit of effort into it.

If the problem is to ISO, go to piratebay and search for Final Fantasy. I did that and found a working Final Fantasy IX torrent which has 4-5 CD. I immediately reported it to the authorities but apparently more people need to report it in order for them to act. Go there, report it in order to do a service to the community.

Write piratebay in google and in one of the pages there is a list of proxies. Use one of them and then report it.
You definitely have to use it first though, no point in reporting it unless you confirm it's functional.

My name's Paul, my brother's Mike, and I wasn't letting the third be called Steiner. Shepards my default guard name, no idea why it just fits.

I think this is the only FF game (or at least the only one I have played) that you can change all character's names.

Eight too, but I was assuming he wasn't counting them because of Sephiroth and Seifer. I don't think you get to change their names, and they are party members.
I suppose so, I wouldn't call Sephiroth part of the main party though. He is the bad guy after all.
Will the PS1 FF-series be available for the PS4 anytime soon? I skipped the PS3, but FF7/8 and the likes are still available in the store there as far as I know. I got the PS4 partly because I wanted access to my favorite games from the 90's, and the PS store is quite disappointing so far...

Nostalgia has nothing to do with it, I played it last year for the first time.
Anyway, if you're not familiar with FF, the start of the game will look booring and you won't understand much. However give it 10 hours before you stop playing and next you know, you'll be looking for emulators to play other Square games and you'll make hundreds of posts here.
Also, the story is both amazing and deep. You're a nice terrorist with cool hairs and cooler sword. The bad guy is even more cool than you though.
