I remember getting destroyed again and again by some big boss dinosaur cnut. One thing I did love about XII was the Quickenings.
The battles in 12 only really get good after around 15 hours into the game, when you have a lot more tactical options to pick from. By then I loved it and the boss battles were excellent.

Not far wrong that, Lost Odyssey is by far the best "Final Fantasy" I've played in an age.
If my laptop was more powerful I'd try emulating Last Story and Xenoblade, but as is I struggle getting Suikoden 3 on the ps2 emulator.
That might be the best thing about it, so damn cheap on the net!Well that is Lost Odyssey ordered for £4.

Oh, certainly would try it without a gaming PC now. Suikoden heated my laptop to near terrifying levels.Xenoblade takes a lot of power, but I don't actually know if there's any laptop that will run The Last Story at full speed on the NTSC version throughout. I think even some overclocked i7 Ivy Bridge desktops have struggled at times!
Highly CPU intensive game.

Might invest in a tower one of these days, and just hook it up to my TV.
I was absolutely shocked, not far off burning myself.Ah shame yeah, remember you saying about that. Pretty scary how hard emulation can push a laptop - I broke two chargers on my old one seemingly because it was sucking in so much power just to get PCSX2 working with Kingdom Hearts. The underside of the laptop itself felt like a radiator.
Amazing to think that in 6/7 years or so things like Dolphin and PCSX2 will be highly accessible and fairly easy to run. Bit like what Project 64 is like now.
I bought it, only because I saw it for a 5er, but I've yet to try it out.Out of interest, has anyone played The Last Remnant? I bought it a while ago but played for ten minutes and decided i didn't like it (bit judgemental of me i know). Willing to give it another bash if it's decent.

Behold.
Why can't I stop watching?!
Clicking on his Youtube channel is a one way ticket. I know it's Chrono Trigger, but one of my favourites so far is:
I've never played the Chrono series. I know how highly they're rated but do you reckon I'll get the same buzz or have I missed the boat a bit?

Yes, it keeps getting better, yes the Vita is getting X, in HD!Just left Cosmo Canyon. This game really is fecking great, isn't it? And you're all about to tell me it only gets better, I assume?
I think it's perfect on the Vita as well. I. Clocking up plenty of hours without actually dedicating too much time to it, I can just drop in and out as I please. Any idea if the Vita will get Final Fantasy X? Now that would be amazing.
