very, I was just going to post something similar.
I thought only the car that is behind another could use DRS?
I thought you could use it to overtake and defend your position.
If its behind in the detection zone it can, theres bit of a gap between that and when they activate it.
I'm guessing you mean Vettel? If so, he had an about to be lapped car in front of him before the DRS zone which allowed him to use DRS.

Exactly. As long as they are within one second of a car in front when crossing the DRS detection line, they can use DRS when they enter the zone.
