The F1 Thread 2010 Season

I'm sorry but Webber is the trailing driver at that point. He hit the arse end of Lewis.

Lewis gave Webber room and Mark fecked up.

Schumacher was the same.

If the front tyre is past the drivers cockpit then its the inside drivers line. Webber wasn't.

Webber did nothing wrong there, he was on the inside of the corner, what do you lot want him to do, vanish?!

Did Red Bull pit crew cheer when Lewis went out then if so poor taste that.

I think it would be harsh to punish Webber but don't think its Lewis's either fault what do you want them both to do stop racing.

Yeah they did, in fact the mechanic said something along the lines of "have that you fecking wanker".

Alonso's championship, im gonna mentally prepare myself for it now.

Oh come on mate, these guys are just as passionate as you and I and it means a much bigger deal to them. They're not the first and won't be the last. I'm sure the McLaren boys were the same at Turkey.

I think they were pissed at Hamilton for putting himself there and then cheering when they realised Webber could continue.

Marchi - the trailing car or not Webber was on the inside, Hamilton was maybe half a car length further up the track but when he's on the outside that doesn't matter, if he wants to drive round the outside then it's his responsibility to make sure he has the room. Webber had nowhere to go from there.

Well either way, given that shambles at Spa towards Vettel he should be up for a penalty.

OK I have watched it a few more times now and Webber had the racing line , but Hamilon was in front on the outside.
Webber was not going to surrender the line , maybe Hamilton is guilty of being too eager to overtake Webber.
6 of one and half a dozen of the other , both at fault or neither.

Webber did not have the racing line, Hamilton had the racing line and Webber outbraked himself and hit the rear tyre of Hamilton. A racing incident but one that is all too similar when Webber is involved.

Sutil did the same as Webber - held his line. Kubica drove all the way round the outside, Hamilton drove half way round the outside then tried to drive straight through Webbers line.

Webber had the inside line. Hamilton should have squeezed Webber before they turned into the corner and forced him to back off. There was no way that Webber was backing off once he was inside on that corner.

What the flying feck was he playing at there?! Your cars on fire shit for brains, get the feck out of it!!

You can't squeeze somebody at 180mph, Webber had the inside line but he was half a car length back therefore its Hamilton's corner, simple fact of the matter is Webber did not want to give it up and neither did Hamilton. It's not a whole lot different to Hamilton hitting Massa at Monza, up the inside wasnt going to make it.
