The F1 Thread 2010 Season

Not during the race but it could well be a wet start or atleast a damp track abit like this quali session. Should be interesting with cars on full fuel though.

Conditions in which the McLaren have looked strongest, whether it will be damp enough for them to be able to benefit from it, I'm not so sure

McLaren will be happy with that, it looks close this could be a cracker!

This battle for the title looks like it's going to be immense, as although it looks very good for Alonso and the Ferrari, you've got to expect a fresh engine being needed, and the McLarens have made a huge step in bridging that gap to the Red Bulls

Awkward race timing tomorrow? Starts at hour after United correct? I'll record and try and ignore media outlets, then go into the race from the start!

Then NFL straight after! What a busy day!

I really despise Alonso as a person, comes across as so up himself and self riteous, I remember seeing him show absolutely no care when the whole Hamilton (shock horror racist) spaniards with black faces thing was going on.

But he still is a brilliant driver.

Great driver but a toxic personality that tends to alienate himself from his team mate through either his own actions or indirect actions via the team. If I wanted a 1 car team he would be my first choice though.

Nicely summarised.

Pointless fact of the day: If Lewis Hamilton finishes on the podium today he will have finished there in 52.2% of all his starts, should he not it will be 50.7%.

Quite happy with the qualifying for this race, the fact that we are only less than .2 secs off of the qualifying time is a sure sign that we have closed the gap in terms of downforce for this type of track.

All we need now is for that knobend Vettel to take out Alonso and it's a happy day for McLaren.

Alonso is the man to beat for the rest of the season IMO. If the McLaren drivers can't win the drivers championship this year I would love to see Webber win it as I can't stand either Alonso or Vettel.

Not so eventful then same top 5 with it being a street race might end up staying the same back to the football.

Webber way ahead, McLaren missed the slot by 5-6 laps. Honestly they are the worst strategist's among the top teams.
