looks like no qualifying today.
if qualifying is not possible , then the grid for the start of the race would be number order.

0556:NEWS UPDATE: Qualifying delayed by 30 minutes. There will be another update at 0620 BST.
Of course the opportunity to qualify on Sunday remains, so don't think the start position based on car number is that likely.

looking at the Merc going round the track now , there is no chance ,lots of standing water and it looks dark.
Qualifying and the race in one day is going to be hard.
watching the build up to the qualifying ,the teams have the cars set up for a dry race , but looking at the BBC F1 site , they are saying heavy rain showers during race time.
Looks like Sunday will also have problems with heavy rain , should make for a very interesting day.

You lads finally get a taste of what its like to have to get up to watch United or stay up to watch the F1 and even then, its not even a work day in the morning. I'd suggest not even bothering to go to sleep. Bathurst is streaming on Justin tv and Veetle so just watch that. Starts at 11:30pm GMT

We're out for a meal tonight and when we get back the missus will almost certainly want to watch the recorded xfactor and then shortly after go to bed so I'll probably play on the playstation for a few hours then watch quali, go to bed for a few hours then up at 6 for race coverage.

Look at the flex on the front wing of the Red Bull, probably the most I have seen it flex this season.
