Hope his neck is ok, the HANS devices are brilliant but that was a huge impact from a number of angles, not to mention the landing.

Agreed, only one person at fault there.
There's an arguement should a car as slow as the Lotus relative to the leaders be on the grid, and we've had the 107% regulation in the past for that
But what they're arguing is that even for race position, slow cars should let fast cars through, and that's clearly bullshit
It's a weird one, i can see the point of Heikki getting out of the way as his car clearly isn't competitive, but he has a right to defend the line.
Whats bizarre though is just before the the accident, Webber follows Heikki to the left hand side of the track to grab his slipstream. Just before impact you can see him move his wheel to the left to get as much of a pull as he could.
It's unfortunate but the safety of these F1 cars is impressive, especially for Webber to walk away from an accident like that.

Getting the gist of it, according to Alonso, Hamilton slowed him right down before the SC had deployed as the race was under full yellows to try and get Button to leap frog him.
And Mclaren say he was driving to the delta lap
