Schumi was and still is a racing god. He had everything that makes a F1 champion.The remotely closest drivers to Schumi I have seen thus far are only Alonso,Massa and Heidfeld.
Clearly F1 has been boring somehow this season after he retired.I think its fair to say he was bigger than the sport.
He was also a cheat, for this reason alone I lost any respect for him.
Michael Schumacher was one of, if not, the greatest F1 driver....the hardest working driver out of the car too....first at the track for racing and testing and always the last to leave.

Senna was a cheating prick as well...but everyone seems to love him...what's the story there?
Senna tainted himself no question in 1990, and I'm sure he would be questioned and muttered about much like Schumacher is today, had it not been for the manner of his death in the prime of his life

Almost every driver/team in Formula One can be accused of cheating.However, Schumi's exploits have been blown far out proportion b'se, he was the champion everyone wanted to beat him, he is German and drove for an Italian team, his most memorable incidents were largely against British drivers/teams.
Well certain things transpired, first Alonso was on pole and dislodging him even when you have the better package is a heck of a task, second Ferrari just didn't the performance from the car, third their tyre strategy backfired,fourth McLarens were just better and last where the heck was Kimi?
I'm off the usgp next weekend...for the third yr in a row. It really is an awesome experience hearing the engine revs and misfires on braking. Anyone else going?

I missed out on going for Indianapolis with my friends the year they had the big fiasco with only 6 cars running. How I laughed at my friends after that...
That's right...it indeed was a farce. Well at least they refunded the ticket money and offered a shot at some free tix through a lottery draw for the next yr's race.
Btw Marching, you from NY or thereabouts as well? Ever been to the Montreal gp? The reason I'm asking is me and some of my friends were interested in doing both this yr but had to cancel because it got quite hard to work out the logistics...tix, hotels and such.

i think today , they cant change anything,the Ferrari and the mclaren are very close valued,and o some circuits suit the Mclaren some the Ferrari, today it seems a good run for the mercedes

He was carried unconcious to the hospital, they don't know in what condition he is yet.

How shite are Ferrari and Kimi ? Not just behind Mclaren but even BMW were better than them today.

Hamilton is class,to have your lead erroded that many times from safety car stoppages and still have the composure to come through shows his metal and at such an age will be a champion no doubt.
god damm awful and totally lack of pace, they better do something quickly to improve the speed of their car or else this turn into a McClaren stroll for both the drivers and constructors title.

Formula 1 has been shite since Michael left, the only saving grace is Hamilton. I'm glad Alonso the prick got 7th.
