The curious case of Jon Moss

A lumbering sack of shit. There are plenty of incompetent refs in the league but he might be the worst of the lot.

Was anyone else not happy that he blew the whistle early? Burnley had the ball when he blew so don't get the fuss everyone is making.

I thought he was just plain incompetent - not biased. So inconsistent in his decisions, but still not the reason we dropped two points.

Not that I'm defending him (he was shit) but it would have helped if our players had actually taken a few shots in injury time instead of turning into Arsenal.
And then that last bit on the right side when no one wanted to cross the ball and mumbled on it for 10 seconds.

In hindsight I was annoyed on him blowing the whistle before the 5 minutes even ended, but thinking of that penalty he gave us it was soft as feck and we were lucky he gave it.

It turned farcical when he intercepted our last attack of the game.

Only to play it out and lose it to us? Or clear it and lose it for De Gea to start an attack. Burnley weren’t scoring a winner mate. If that was 87th minute when moss clears the ball, we win.

Just unfortunate Ole made the first and only mistake of his reign by starting a championship level player (look at him against reading btw) in an important game, as Herrera passes that without fuss + moss was referee.

He's not the only ref who's shit with timekeeping. It's insane how much time wasting smaller teams get away with if they're holding on to a result against a bigger side.

My main issue with him last night was that when allowing play on after a foul, he didn't go back and book those players for persistant fouls.

He gets some crdit for trying to allow the game to flow, but that shouldn't mean that they are allowed to charge into our players at will.

It's actually quite incredible that he blew three seconds before the 95:00 inspite of the fact that
1) we scored in the extra time which is usually one more minute added
2) he gave Heaton a yellow card for time wasting in the extra time.

Horrendous performance.

Also I've noticed that supposedly the big hard strikers of the lower league teams fall down very very easily when this type of match occurs and always gets the fecking decision.

Didn't he have a shit game in the Derby vs. Accrington game this weekend? Think it was him, and the Accrington boss went off at him afterwards on TV....

SO whats your reward for that Jon? Why a Premiership game 3 days later! Your fit enough for that right? Are you feck.

Absolutely shocking referee - shouldn't be allowed anywhere near the Premier League. Fat feck, who is unfit to keep up with play, makes shocking decisions and definitely has an agenda against us every time he "referees" our matches. Allowed Burnley to shove our players in the back regularly, but penalised ours for the same. Failed to book Heaton for time wasting at every goal kick or free kick in the 2nd half, but did book a Burnley player for time wasting at one throw in. Gave a penalty for the foul on Rashford, then changed his mind after Burnley players shouted at him. Blocked our last attack. Failed to play the minimum 5 minutes added time which he had given. Absolutely incompetent and biased w*nker!

He looks like he’s wearing a fat suit.
It’s ridiculous he’s still reffing.
Never seen him have a good game.

Arse players constantly kicking the ball away after the whistle and showing dissent every time a foul is called against them, yet this weak prick is doing nothing about it.

Why do the referees all wear such tight fitting tops? I hardly think it's in the Premier League's interests to point out how so many of their officials are overweight.

He's brutal. He doesn't look fit enough to referee U9's let alone a premiership match and he's completely oblivious to 90% of what's going on out there.

Terrible today. And I’m saying that knowing he’s been terrible in our favour.

These refs have got so many decisions wrong today it's ridiculous. I'm against VAR, but boy do these refs make it a difficult stance to take.

Phil Dowd was more overweight, the fat mess.

(Yes I still haven't forgotten the 2010 final ).

Paul Durkin was another porky but a pretty good ref.

Yeah won't begrudge you guys that one, ridiculously soft penalty.

He's a fat feck that compensates by consistently making terrible decisions

Was thinking about how the crowd would react rather than whether it was a foul or not. Didn't even think about it for a second.

It's one of those rare cases when the referee is behind every play that he just guesses almost most of his decisions

Shouldn't be allowed to ref at a professional level but he's reffing consistently big games in the richest league in the world.

He should be the spearhead example of why refereeing needs some sort of overhaul. The face on a side of a fecking bus i.e. his wife’s arse

The penalty decision was a mistake by Moss. But I have to apploud Lacazette, he does a good dive, both feet together at the end of the fall - and to be fair to the referee, from his position it could look like Fred clipped the feet of Lacazette.

Basically killed the game dead with that penalty decision. Can’t say we would have gone on to equalise, but one wrong decision and the game is totally over.
