Does not need to be a straight replacement. You can pick on any category and shuffle your team around, but the playing 11 you field for the next game should not have any duplicate categories. i.e every player must be of a different category.

At least that's what I understood...

Reverse order again gives a disadvantage to the people in the middle. The person who picked last got to safely pick teammates as a tandem and now they'll get first pick?

Either start it from the middle out or just randomize it totally. Nobody can really complain about another random draw.

Well the ones at the end of the draft also missed out on the top players, and this isn't a timeline where you had top tier players till the very end of first round. As happy as I was with Rivaldo, would I think for a second if I could trade him for Cristiano or Ronaldinho or Ronaldo?

We've been over this umpteen number of times in all the previous drafts. There's no perfectly fair solution here but this is as close as we can get, imo.

Random draw, then. Instead of trying to undo a harm that may or may not have occurred, just random draw again.

Seriously? Admittedly, people sometimes have brainfarts, but the picks from the first half are quite clearly the cream of the first round.

Tbf Edgar could've picked much better player than Carlos and Litmanen came with a swap. Doesn't say much.
I agree that reverse is the best, but with the one reinforcement when you most likely need a straight swap, if I'll win, I'm most likely to be left with the same team and maybe get a player an hope to win again because I doubt that I'll find 1 player to improve my team and still fit the right category. I agree that reverse order is the right way to go but I think 2 picks is a better idea.
I'm fine either way anyway.

Just restating my view from the match thread: I don't think posting the line-ups "head-to-head" is necessary, or even a good idea. It doesn't serve the intended purpose, especially not when people use different sites to create their illustrations. One, single illustration, with both teams spread across the pitch, might be nice - but that doesn't strike me as realistic.

I much prefer to see an illustration with the keeper at the bottom to visualize how it might look on the pitch - the illustrations with the keeper on top don't look right to me - and the "head-to-head" effect (which is the only possible reason to insist on this policy) is questionable to begin with and non-existent when the managers use different formats.
 
Doing one pitch with two teams might be very intersting to try - two teams sending team sheet to the mod, he makes a combined sheet and posts it

It's the shirts. Every week before a game the lineup is depicted keeper up top so we should all be familiar. Thing is when you see the shirts you imagine the guy standing on feet somewhere below them, which makes it "looks" like the keeper is miles off the line and the strikers almost inside the goal.

Sharemytactics looks the part to me, much better than footballuser and its only flaw is not having this inverted option. Why not going back to that suggestion of putting them side by side? It would spare us all a lot of scrolling.
 
Ok, looks like we know those progressing to the quarters. Happy to start the draft once it's confirmed. One reinforcement per team, inverted order.

Remember all 11 on the field must meet 11 criteria.
 
Just to clarify, can we pick from any team that's been knocked out?

Also, is it swaps, in that if you bring in one, one must go out, and all 12 criterion must be represented?
