My choice for the ideal team, that fits all 12 criteria:

Cristiano-----Zidane------Messi (Ballon D'or, Teammate, WC loser)
------Redondo--Keane----- (Under 30 caps, Non-Fifa Top 30 Country)
RobertoCarlos----------Lahm/Zanetti (Teammate, 10+Years at one club)
----Cannavaro---Desailly------ (3 countries, Foreign-Born)
---------Ceni/Marcos---------- (No Europe)
12th man (never won the league):
1) Hassler or Gerrard (3rd CM of the bench if you want to go 4-3-3 instead of 4-2-3-1)
2) Andrade, Hyppia or Carragher (3rd CB to go 3-5-2 option)
3) Bale (Pace and goals off the bench, can move Messi central)
I reckon that's basically a perfect team. The wingers don't track back and a 10 might cause some damage between the lines, but that just means a 4-1 score instead of 4-0

You have Deco between the lines and Seedorf vs Keane and Guardiola vs Scholes. That's not so bad. Should be a decent game.

Pretty sure he only played one season at Bayern with Kohler and Effenberg never won a league title with a different club than Bayern (unless his time at Bayern after his return from Italy counts as a different team), so he doesn't really help with the 8-9 criteria.
Also after Annah picked Mihajlovic, he couldn't go back to Laudrup anymore if I'm not mistaken. Hazard needed to be replaced and both Laudrup and Mihajlovic only fit the 'born in a different country' criteria, so he would have been forced to play a sheep if he picked Laudrup. You pretty much wummed poor Annah into hours of research for nothing

Might as well add that Michael wasn't born in Denmark either. He was the first player I checked for this draft.
I did a small piece on the brothers in Danish class back in the day. That's how I knew about them

I know, the momentum was fecked but. I sent in a writeup but would have been so hard to continue where we left off with a months break inbetween.
Just lookin at Annahs side here, the sheep has certainly improved my chances. I also fancy Mjung Bo to have Ronaldo in his pocket
