The Criteria Draft - The Drafts

Feck, Bebe is playing hard-ball. I realize why he cost us so much, he only wishes to join me if he can get number 7 with the shirt name of "Bebeinho".

Other great non league winning (probably, I'm not researching) wingers include:

Regi Blinker
Jose Dominguez
Mark Pembridge
Emile Heskey (played on the left at the start of his career)

For never having won the league title. Who is a better mockery of Arsenal never winning the league than Walcott? He has spent a decade at the club without any league win. It is the perfect opportunity for us United fans to mock their failures.

Nah, too cruel, your future lies with the fantastic list above.

Or Charles N'Zogbia.

Surely Davids ccounts then?

RPITRODA

Incorrect Picks - Luis Enrique - Qualifies for nothing!

Lucho :(

ANNAHNOMOSS

Incorrect Picks - Hazard - Won a league with Lille (2010-2011)

 If only he had found that chap...

STOBZILLA/KM

Incorrect Picks - None.

 I take it all back! :wenger:

Some of these sheep... Bebe and Mark Kennedy actually look quite handy by comparison.

I take it I can now tell you alll who Annah missed out on there, right?

I'm doing my best to let it go Anto. You aren't helpiAAAAAARRRRRRGGGGGHHHHHH!!!!!!!

That rule is still like entering the twilight zone when I see who got in and who can't/couldn't.

Players from colonies don't count because the colony wasn't independent then.

East Germans don't count because their city of birth is today in Germany.

But Yugoslavs count because the country their city of birth is now in is one that didn't exist altogether, thus "different".

Mind-bending puzzle that one.

And all the while, a straightforward pick, out there in the open...

  how fecking stupid and lazy of me to get that one wrong. But who cares I guess...

I have no idea who the SHEEP I got is, but he's name is funny enough to me. He doesn't have to be a keeper if you guys want to change it I don't care tbf

Team NoPace

10 years at the same club - Schweinsteiger
Ballon do'r - Cristiano Ronaldo
3 different nations played in - Thiago Silva
8 and 9 criteria - Aldair and Carboni (Roma)
Never won a league title - Thomas Hassler
Played for a country he wasn't born in - Marco Senna
Never played in Europe competition - Luke Shaw
More than 90 caps but less than 100 - Wayne Rooney
Less than 30 caps - Juanfran (the current Atletico Madrid one)
Plays for country not in top 30 = Peter Cech
WC finalist - Roberto Baggio

Sheep suggestions:

Annah - Player to have never won the league - From Crystal Palace, Aaron Wilbraham
VivaJanuzaj/Crappy - Player to have never played in Europe - From Hull City, the immortal Paul McShane
The Red Viper - Player born in one country but played for another - Born in England, plays for Northern Ireland, Hull City's Alex Bruce

I think you should change name to VivaModric. Think you were on about him last draft I played too!
:D I did. I absolutely adore this player. Wanted him to come to United so badly :(... I think he's the smartest CM around today, can fit in any team really. He has great discipline when defending, and he's surely the best playmaker today in world football. I'll never forget the game against Spain in Euro 2012 where he completely dominated the Spanish midfield all by himself in Croatia, was a monster of performance. Plus, I think last year he's been only second to Ronaldo in Real Madrid's route to La Decima.
And feck, what a goal he scored against us after that Turkish referee robbed us and gave Nani that red card :(

Yet they were avoided like the plague. Carragher was clearly a better CB than some of those that have been picked.

That category turned out to be one more people should have waited on. I got Schweinsteiger in round 4 and could have had Puyol or Terry in round 11.

Cracking suggestions those two

Do you rate Carragher over Hyypia? I was really thinking between these two but I just think Hyypia is clearly the better CB, plus Carragher is such a cnut

I feel bad about Bruce because he tries hard and has decent instincts and did an okay job for them last year at times, but he's not a Prem footballer really. He and Joos Hoiveld should have a sitcom, probably.

McShane should always be a sheep in every sheep draft forever.

I'd say Ramos was a bigger part of La Decima, but the rest I agree with. It's a shame we didn't just give Levy 40 million and take Modric. We would have probably avoided buying Fellaini too, so it wouldn't have been that costly all in all.
