Taking control and ignoring congressAt least im happy to see they re taking control of the border and ignoring Congress to a degree. Yes even as someone left of center I think taking more control of the border is important.
Congress isn't taking care of it.Taking control and ignoring congress
Taking control and ignoring congress
The trying for a ceasefire is just media sound bites for liberals. What Israel is going is fully supported by the US
I'd be very worried about some of the none documented individuals who are crossing the boarder unchecked. I'd say the US will certainly have some alarming terrorist issues in the next few years. At least im happy to see they re taking control of the border and ignoring Congress to a degree. What a stupid take. Delivering water to people in the United States is far less complex than getting weapons overseas. Of course, the proposals are going to be different sizes.
Then she should not have mentioned the document sizes.I think the point is more the ridiculous amount of money, weapons and effort that's put on helping a genocidal regime.
Why not? It shows the effort and detail going to support a genocide is ridiculous compared to the effort and detail going for something designed to help the country's citizens. Then she should not have mentioned the document sizes.
It's a false equivalency. The effort to approve money to be spent sending water to Tennessee and North Carolina is different than the effort needed to securely send weapons overseas. Don't get me wrong, I am angry as hell that my tax money is being used to fund the genocide of the Palestinian people, I just think the point of the "ohhh 2 pages vs 69 pages" does nothing to make her case about priorities. Clearly, both issues are a priority. It's not a binary choice. Why not? The Biden administration announced Saturday that it would be sending $100 million to help the North Carolina Department of Transportation pay for immediate emergency repairs from Hurricane Helene damage, according to a press release.
“Working in close coordination with North Carolina, we are providing this initial round of funding so there’s no delay getting roads repaired and reopened, and re-establishing critical routes,” U.S. Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg said in the release.
Strange you see more attention on the nutty conspiracy theories about the government response or the visibility of the Biden Harris administration attention to the disasters than the actual responses. It is ridiculous that Secretary Pete had to publicly call out Musk himself for spreading rumors and lies and make himself available publicly for Elon to call and clear up said lies.“The Biden-Harris administration will be with North Carolina every step of the way, and today’s emergency funding to help get transportation networks back up and running safely will be followed by additional federal resources,” he added.
Buttigieg said in a post on the social platform X that the transportation department approved the request.
“Further support will follow as the administration works with states and communities at every step along the path to recovery,” he said in the post.
Afghan withdrawal maybe?so biden’s legacy will be
-genocide
-trump getting reelected
- ???
can’t think of any other disasters that can top these.

It is insane when you think about it. His lasting legacy will be facilitating a genocide, providing insufficient aid and a lot of rules and hard lines as America’s old enemy openly invades a European country and then finishes off with Trump getting re-elected.
Is there any group who will look back on him fondly?
