The bad (typically gun related) things happening in America thread

I can't believe that, there just has to be something missing in the story.

How could he possibly avoid heavier charges? Was it a fight at first and he's claiming self-defence? Are they just laying heavier charges later? Just WTF?

Honest to God, I'm active in a load of deep threads and am reading other ones daily, but this is the most depressing thread on the Caf

Yeah, tough to sustain a bite from a hammerhead, but that would be a surreal sight seeing a shark’s dorsal fin between me & shore.
Of course it could treat you like a nail, you'd then be just as fecked as if it had bitten you :D

Spooky! For all of its relatively smooth appearance their skin is pretty rough, you'd have definitely been scraped up good.

Not all sharks are that rough to the touch and those that are won't damage skin if they brush you because the scales face backwards. Run your hand from back to front and it will feel very rough in many cases.

You know not everyone in Florida is a Republican, right Dutchie? white text - that was funny
To be fair, people always report Florida when talking about crazy US stuff because they have very open laws about reporting on criminal trials.

Plus loads of even weirder, random stuff, normally involving alligators.

There was supposed to be a ironic joke here, but I realised it wasn't funny...

I had this whole apology ready complete with some introspection about how this polarisation in society is leading even decent men like my self to saying calous things that I don't really mean.

But then I saw your white text.

130 million. Yikes…

They obviously need to find a way to reform education and make certain exams mandatory,. If someone fails one of those exams, then going to cram schools (very common practice in Asia) will be as necessary as it takes until one passes the final exam. There also has to be a way to make the job market inaccessible to people who either don't succeed or choose to ignore those exams too.

My proposal might sound radical, but it is necessary in front of such staggering numbers. I prefer having millions of people doing cram school in order to find a way to succeed a specific level of education and thus attain minimal job market requirements rather than tolerate such societal problem of mediocrity any longer.
