The Apprentice

'Let's try and get it for £30'.

'That will be £990'.

A thing I've noticed about the programme this series is that none of the candidates profiled so far work in London or at least have knowledge of the city. Trying to join the corporate world, walking into some of the most exclusive shops in the world and basically begging for discounts makes them look beyond ridiculous.

I agree, Zlatan needs to go as he thinks he walks on water.

Ok Zlatan has to go soon, I cannot stand helmets like him. Anyone that speaks about themself in the third person should be an automatic firing.

Thought Vince got away there. Gavin's non-existent control of the group meant he got away scot-free, but Sugar will have his number marked from now on.

The cream of our corporate future!!:lol::lol: They have not ONE fecking ounce of common sense. I would just love to be there with them, Sugar would hire me in an instant and thats no bullshit people! as he would with a majority of posters in here.

The name "Lord Sugar" is such pretentious bullshit. They should just call him Al.

He didn't purchase it online, the last Government did appoint him to the House of Lords and give him a portfolio in the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills.

They are pretty unbelievable, I always find it hard to believe these are meant to be some of the brightest business minds in this country. Common sense couldn't be found in a single one of them.

Are they supposed to be the brightest business minds in the country though? I've never seen it that way, the way I see it if they were the brightest business minds in the country they would already be running their own business. Some of them have right shit jobs before they pass the auditions for the show as well.

I see them no more than Big Brother contestants. they have qualifications, pass an interview and then show exactly the reason why they don't own their own businesses, but instead actually work for people who do have the brains.

Well, maybe not this bunch but I definitely remember hearing about them being the best prospects, or business minds, or something equivelant to that. It's said at the start of the first show of some of the seasons by the narrator.

Although I agree with your analysis of who they actually are and why they couldn't be the best minds anyway.

They're clearly not the brightest minds because the brightest minds wouldn't apply, and even if they did the producers wouldn't choose them as they're only interested in creating drama.

How the feck can you spend 3 hours in a room and not locate a single supplier for some fairly innocuous items? Did they not call anyone? Completely inept.

Dont know how anyone watches this tbh, Sugar is a twat & the programmes full of twats... Cant stand Dragons Den either...

You's British folk are blessed you dont have RTE, as they've their own Irish versions aswell

Different people like different things. Shouldn't be hard to understand.

Just seen the last episode, and I'm glad that
Gavin
left. Wasn't a fan of his at all, he seemed to disagree with everything without offering an alternative. The guy who left the first week was an utter, utter simpleton, it's unbelievable that he got a place on the show.

I'm enjoying the series this year but I find it a little bizarre that in the intro of the show Sugar says 'I'm not looking for a salesman, I'm looking for a business partner' and he then makes the first task almost purely sales-based, evaluating their performances purely in terms of sales. Sugar is an arrogant, pompous prick and he does infuriate me with his shit jokes and pointless criticisms/insults that he won't let people reply to. Having said that, I liked his 'Your Belgian aren't you, well that's where that waffle comes from' line this week, even if it was most likely pre-rehearsed.

That's a bit stupid

Well not really because if it was allowed the entire show would consist of them sitting at a computer ordering the items, and then just going and picking them up.

They'd have to be seriously retarded to mess that up!

No matter how shit Sugar is, though, dont you find yourself always agreeing on what prick to fire? I do.
