Check out his wiki page under the tab "controversies" you'll get a good idea.
Woman beater.
Again. Makeable return. Goes for too much.
Why do some hate Zverev?
Oh it is? What's with the weird hand signs then?
Now that he's had the settlement on Friday, I think this will be further pushed under the rug. No one will talk about it.fecking hell, this along with the Kyrigos stuff make the ATP look like sickos for allowing this shit wtf.
Normally, I agree, but since this whole coaching thing was mentioned and how much Ferrero interfears, I wonder how much allowing a player to build their own momentum builds confidence and consistency.Still can only see Carlos winning this. He's very mentally strong while Zverev has been known to choke in moments like this.

It seems to have worked out so far for him in his career. Not sure how it will be going forward but with just this match in isolation, I think Carlos will be fine.Normally, I agree, but since this whole coaching thing was mentioned and how much Ferrero interfears, I wonder how much allowing a player to build their own momentum builds confidence and consistency.
If you're constantly looking to your coach or they are constantly in your ear, you become a little too dependent.
Alcaraz, not just this match, but this season has looked at odds with himself mentally. He always does well to reset, as most champions do, but I think the coaching has a more detrimental effect for the more vocal coaches.
Solid covidiot on top as wellHe’s allegedly beat up 2 different women, comes off horrendously arrogant and isn’t a likeable watch. His comments and aggressiveness in his media re the DV issues and he bounces the ball about 80 times between serves.
literally nothing to like.

This bit is most definitely true. Given the level we got used to seeing with the Big 3, Sinner and Carlos aside, it feels quite depressing to watch this current era. Almost has me wishing Novak had made the final so we could have had a higher quality tennis match.A lot was made of the AO( I think).
Ferrero didn’t travel due to knee surgery and Alcaraz struggled visibly in most rounds before going out to Zverev, looked quite lost without him.
Still think it’s mainly a being 22 years old thing, and tactics/maturity given his all court game.
I find it a bit harsh/nitpicky as he’s provided tonnes more answers than questions in his short game, in every aspect of tennis and off court! Recent tennis era has ruined us a bit.
Is this all down to that one correct but late call that Zverev whinged about? I get it rejuvenating Alcaraz, but ouch at Zverev letting it bother him so much.
He's back in this set now with the break so maybe he'll tune back in mentally now.he’ll be chucking it a bit and would expect a tight 5th.

If it were slightly lower, it wouldn't be a problem but two players apart, the entire tour is substantially worse than even 37 year old Novak and that is a big problem.Agree somewhat but I really can’t wait for Djoko, Nadal and Murray to be completely gone - though I’m certain Djoko is the only one who can still do any damage at all (boy can he).
even if it’s less consistent/a slightly lower overall level I want to watch the new guys and get out from the shadow. Even in tennis media 80% is about nadal/djoko and it’s unwarranted at this point.

I would be very impressed if Djokovic comes back from that last injury at his age to win a slam tbh.Agree somewhat but I really can’t wait for Djoko, Nadal and Murray to be completely gone - though I’m certain Djoko is the only one who can still do any damage at all (boy can he).

I think there is a dependency that some players have at coaches. It is understandable given you're out there alone but I too think Alcaraz will and needs to become a better problem solver on his own.Normally, I agree, but since this whole coaching thing was mentioned and how much Ferrero interfears, I wonder how much allowing a player to build their own momentum builds confidence and consistency.

That was horrendous from Zverev. Not watched the whole match but the quality has seemed patchy.
