Nishikori a set up on Murray. Wonder how long into the match our tournament Nishikori gets either tired or injured.

He's playing very well. Murray needs to turn this around fast or Nishikori won't even have time to get tired/injured!

Them will beat Nadal. It will be a passing of the torch moment i reckon

Someone correct me if I'm wrong but 3 of the 4 mens semi finals haven't dropped a set yet (Nadal, Thiem and Stan).

Assuming Stan doesn't botch up the 3rd set, he's had an excellent tournament so far.

Great tie-break from Nishikori. Seem to remember Murray vs Stan being a bit of a letdown last year but should be a good match this time round, Stan would be the slight favourite for me but Murray's having a good tournament by his 2017 standards.

Hopefully Murray is healthy again because when he is he's fantastic. He needs to beat Wawrinka and get this year properly going. Knock him off the court like last year.

I went to that match. Was a decent match, but Murray won it fairly comfortably in 4 sets. Not sure how I'd call it this time around.

Wawrinka has been great so far this tournament. Two great semi final clashes ahead.

Disappointing tournament so far. Hopefully the semis are epics. Would hate to see Nadal and Stan both win in straights and then another 3/4 set win for Nadal in the final...

Djokovic has family problems according from everything I've read so far in the Serbian media. His younger brother Marko suffers from depression and has recently opened up about his relationship with his older brother and with his family. This is one of the reasons why he has brought in Pepe the guru. Apparently he helped him a lot during his depression and he started bringing him to the tournaments so inevitably Novak got involved with this guy as well.

Apparently there is also something strange going on with his wife although that is not confirmed. It seems that all of this has had a negative impact on Novark and no wonder he has been so off. Becker left him partly because of Pepe Imaz and suggested he needs a new coach if he is still serious about tennis. Jim Courier also said something along these lines and questioned the purpose of the guru. But Novak is still sticking to him partly because of his younger brother...

I don't think there is a way back for Novak until he sorts out his family problems.

Any specific information on the wife situation? has he cheated on her or something..

Ostapenko could be a real talent. Only 20 too.

Current match is Halep vs Pliskova and Pliskova looks like she has never played tennis before. She's awful.

Quite enjoyed the women's side this week, hope Halep takes it on Saturday as Ostapenko annoys me and Halep's too good to end her career without winning a slam. Her grunting is approaching Azarenka/Sharapova levels though, she never used to be this bad.

There's a rumor that he cheated on her but it doesn't seem to be true. The media are mostly reporting on her behavior towards him, which seems to be abrasive at times. Nothing else apart from that so I wouldn't want to read too much into that. Every marriage has it's ups and downs, obviously.

This thing with his brother though is an ongoing problem. He said that he never felt loved and respected (middle child), always in the shadow of his older, successful brother, and that Pepe Imaz helped him find and love himself again. There was a bizarre press conference with the three of them where Marko said how his heart is full of endless love for everyone in the room... then Novak held his hand while his brother teared up, all the while Pepa was just sitting there like a creep. I don't know what the hell is going on with this family but it doesn't look healthy.

Oh, apparently it wasn't Djokovic firing his team but Vajda signaling he had enough of this bollocks. Add to this that Becker left Djokovic because 'he wasn't working hard enough'. You either want to win those damn medals or not. I feel for Djokovic, he looks completely lost. Latest rumor is that Radek Stepanek will take over as his new coach. I quite like this idea. Don't think Agassi is the right choice at all.

Sounds like a car crash .. sad to see.

I'm hoping this is a long one so I can get home to see a good chunk of Nadal Thiem

What a set that was. Lunch break well spent. Will have to just follow the score from now on in

Wawrinka already off to a flyer but i can see Murray clawing this back once again. Probably end up being 5 hours overall.
