?

Isn't the match continuing tomorrow? I think she'd end up taking the third set. The break probably did her and you a favour.
Unless you watch the women's regularly the acca will feck you. I don't watch it much but there are so many match ups that you won't know about. How in form players are etc. I try to avoid them on an acca cause it's a minefield I have little clue about.

Did make a punt for Halep to win it though.

Any idea what time the match resumes tomorrow? I'm aware that the match is suspended due to rain and darkness, but I was expecting the match to resume today; not sure why they would need 2 days for a reschedule. I actually placed a substantial amount on a treble accumulator of Venus Williams, Timea Bacsinszky and Caroline Wozniacki to win so its all just down to Caroline now. Unfortunately I have a 100% losing record in tennis accumulators whenever one of them got suspended. Alexander Zverev screwed me up badly on a potential 2k, so I'm already writing this off as a loss. :(

If there's one thing I've just learnt about women's tennis, its so fecking unpredictable! It's even worse than NBA! Anyone can literally beat anyone bar Serena. It's a bit of a joke really. Men's tennis is more predictable but then again, its not that easy these days either.

P.S: Congrats on Halep!

@MullerUtd just checked and she's up next on court 2. Now Anderson - Edmund has finished, should resume anytime soon.

Thanks mate, I just saw that the match just resumed and I'm watching this live on Bet365 now! Fingers crossed Caroline can pull this off or else I'm going to be broke for this month.

Finishing on a bagel. Hopefully gives Murray the confidence to kick on and go deep into the tournament.

There we go! How much you win?

Harsh on RBA. The guy doesn't match up to Nadal well at all. He's a guy though that could cause other good players problems on clay.

Dominant so far and will likely play Raonic next.

Raonic is doing his best to lose to PCB but should get through. Whoever it is, hard to see Rafa dropping more than six games. Top half looks more interesting at least.

Wow. PCB was serving for the set and had 3 match points which Raonic saved. Back on serve at 5-5.

I thought PCB was going to feck that game up. Raonic saved 3 match points again, but he finally made it through. 8-6 in the 5th set.

First QF will be him against Nadal.

I'll scream if Đoković v Thiem is on Eurosport 2 and not one.

In the mean time, come on Ostapenko!

Sorry, Caroline, but this is unacceptable.

Just checked their TV guide and it's supposed to be on one.

Think it's about time to leave the office and head home to catch the start of this.

Ah, indeed. Thought for a moment that they might prefer Nadal.

It's a shame they didn't have one after the other. Not like it's a busy day for that.

Looks as though we'll get all the mens QFs tomorrow then.

Trust it to be the day I've got football on, so will miss all of it.

Well, would've been nice for ladies matches to follow that as well. Just four singles matches today.

Though, all moot now with rain disrupting a lot.

Thiem's looking fine. Nadal with almost a bye in the other match, 6-2 and 2-0 with retirement. Hopefully Đoković or Thiem are rested well before semi or it could be another three setter for Nadal.

Thiem is looking good for the win.

Match looks over now. Thiem a double break up in the 3rd set.

Massive game from Thiem. First set was a thriller with a endless game at 2-2, then Nole gets it and the break to 4-2 after that, Thiem comes back and can defend two set balls and wins the set in tie-break. After that it was a easy win. Now against Rafa, shame they meet already, should have been the final :)

Nole will now lose 1,2 places in the ranking. I think Stan and Rafa can overtake him today.

Pathetic effort from Djokovic towards the end, it was a pretty entertaining match until he checked out. Thiem doesn't stand a chance against Nadal but impressive tournament from him nonetheless.

That 6-0 in the final set was brutal. Thiem looks good, still can't shake the feeling that his shots are a bit haphazard. Djoko didn't look like he even cared today.

Does anyone think he can get back to where he was?

He'll most likely never be dominant again but he's certainly capable of winning another slam when you look at the current field. He's going to have to find some motivation from somewhere though... If that doesn't happen then it wouldn't surprise me if he retired early.

Can't believe he hasn't ditched Pepe yet.

I just wonder if he'll ever be back at his best. At 30, there's only one way this is going.

Physically it's not like there's been a huge decline for him, but he just doesn't seem interested. Occasionally he can still turn it on and salvage a match but it's clear he can't maintain that focus and intensity consistently.

The question of whether he can be back at his best is all on the mind. We can only know once he's taken some time away from the game to recharge and sort out his issues, whatever that is, and see if he's still willing to compete.

His comment today hinted at sth like that. It's like he's playing out of obligation.

It's a shame seeing Djokovic like this. It's hard to know whether it's a confidence thing. Physically he looks to be struggling to see out matches, where's in the last few years he's looked well able to stick in there. I guess it must be really difficult to maintain the same level of motovation he had before after so long at that pitch. Seeing the likes of Federer and Nadal turn it around must give him confidence, though. That said, I was sure at one stage that he'd go past Federer's 17 and now the 18 looks very, very far away.
