How soon should we expect the Nadal - Thiem match? I know they sold tickets serperately for each SF match unlike the standard day ticket, so you've gotta have the crowd switch. Could see this one finishing tomorrow.

Why did you think it was going to be comfortable? Did you see what Thiem did to Novak or Nadal a few weeks ago. Not many players can do that. I don't care what form Novak was in. He rarely loses by 3 sets.
Thiem is great at times but a little bit brainless too.
That was in the first set. Thiem had break points on every Nadal service game I believe. Thiem hadn't served well, but Thiem had plenty of chances early in the first set. It did initially feel like it flattered Rafa a bit.

I remember when Rafa was on of the stronger players (how hard he hits/serves the ball). Thiem's power is amazing when he serves.
Knew Rafa would win but this has been poor from Thiem, more a case of him beating himself than Rafa blasting him off the court. Good example of the gap that still exists between the top players and the rest of the field.
Disappointing from Thiem. Similar to Rome just the other way around with playing Novak/Rafa. Brilliant in the QF only to get destroyed in the following match.

Stan had to go an extra 2 hours and 30 minutes. That's a big advantage for Rafa.
Can't take another Slam final loss after Australia. Been saying for a while it's Nadal's best Slam chance for a while and really hope he takes it. Nadal hasn't ever lost a RG final and Stan hasn't ever lost a Slam final. Something's got to give on Sunday! Hope he manages La Decima!

I'd rather Nadal win. If you offered me the League instead of the CL it would be a tough one but I've never much cared about the CL weirdly enough. Besides, we're a big club and will win trophies for years to come whereas Nadal just has a year or two of top quality stuff left.

Not a clue, probably because she is ranked in the top 10. Tennis commentary is so biased, you can tell the commentators always have a clear favourite they want to win. It's shit to listen to.

Agree with whoever mentioned about Bartoli. It's a thing in women's commentary though, they big up every shot like it was shot of the century.
Chris Evert on Eurosport is pretty decent.
