Telegraph Investigation: England Manager Sam Allardyce For Sale | Big Sam leaves England job

LVG is so toxic after his stint with us that Belgium thought Roberto Martinez was a better option... let that sink in.

I struggle to watch England now, if that tw@t got the job I would 100% steer clear of anything to do with them.

England, the gift that keeps on giving.

I feel a bit sorry for Sam, we all say dumbass things with drink or two taken.

Let's be real, what this country really needs, is a Mike Bassett sequel. That film gets better with every sacking.

I cant really see what he can be fired for.......
  • He points out a loop hole in third party ownership and states that its happening.... but he isn't the one doing it, just said how it is being done.
  • offers to speak at some events and be a spokesman.... but says it would have to be ratified by the FA..... can't be fired for that.
  • and criticises Roy Hodgson...... well should Mourinho be fired for criticising LVG.... course not!!
so as much as i don't like Sam Allardyce and wish he wasn't manager of England or even a manager at all, this is at worse a bad PR story.

He's basically said what we all think
When did it come out Sven was shagging around with his secretary?

What a bubble people like this live in. You'd think that, after years of similar highly-publicised stings, people would be very wary of meetings like this unless everything was meticulously checked-out beforehand.

Its just the media trying to make the story bigger than it is. Most here dont like Sam either so they're happy to see this.

I don't like Sam...... but this is just daft..... surely people are clever enough to read and go sorry whats the fuss about?

Sam's problem here is why is he even having a meeting like this with some dodgy businessmen to discuss third party ownership without the FA knowing and it likely isn't a one-off that he's been unlucky with, it was probably a pretty sure thing they could get a meeting like this with him based on meetings he's had in the past. The FA dismiss it and there's every chance more dirt gets dug up in the future.

What a idiot getting involved in something like that after his speech to the media about "bringing it on"

That said i dont really understand issue around 3rd part ownership. It seems like he was discussing potential loopholes, morally wrong but not illegal.

I struggle to get worked up over this - English football is riddled with corruption and the FA have never shown any interest in dealing with it

Who is next in line? Gary? I assume FA will get someone who is very familiar with the national team and yet still young as a manager who is less likely to be corrupted.

Could get sacked for that as it can be seen as him telling them how to get around it.

England are shite anyway, he's better off out of the shambles. I rejoiced when Rashford was dropped, he shouldn't have to be dragged through mud all the times with the mess of the Eleven Donkeys.

After Gary it will be Joffrey followed by Hodor

Not a good thing for the manager to be caught up in.. but is it anything illegal? Or just bad press?
Thats what I was thinking. Telling people something obvious like how tobget around FA rules isnt a crime.
