Telegraph Investigation: England Manager Sam Allardyce For Sale | Big Sam leaves England job

What makes me laugh is the pat on the back English journos are giving themselvesfor this great work, when most of them write stories about Kardashians and what footballers buy on their weekly shops. Twats.

Statistically has the best win ratio/percentage of any England manager, no one will ever beat that. Can't believe he's gone already. lol

At the end of the day. Almost every manager/player/agent etc is a corrupt asshole. Anyone caught. ...well ha ha...and good ridence. No sympathy. You have given football a bad name. Atleast a great pecentage of our fans dont do this for corruption.

If you win the tornament or league its better to do it and feel proud that you have done it leagaly.

Lance Armstrong springs to mind.

I do like big sam as im a northerner and i dont mind bolton. However what he has done....Well he can piss off.

Been busy all day but can anyone give me a brief summary of what he's done? I always knew he was a dodgy cnut

Stupidity from Sam, but cant help feel the FA have jumped the gun.

He didn't technically seem to do anything wrong and surely it will be more helpful him spilling everything he knows and keep his job. I guess he will probably do that to save face, unless it incriminates himself

But he didn't break any law nor was there any corruption here. Rather he was giving an honest observation of what happens behind the scenes. Stupid yes but I think it's very harsh that he lose his job over it.

What an idiot.

The biggest position of his life and he voluntarily puts himself into a position where he walks the plank straight away.

In the grand scheme of things, I'd wager that many British managers at that level have done similar advisory deals (probably not to that scale or while in national management posts but along the lines). What he said on Roy was slightly unsavoury but hardly reprimand worthy. The job approaches comments were towing the line just about. Wembley redevelopment views were spot on in my view.

It's the whole blasé attitude, ignorance to rules and regulations and playing to the stereotypical characteristics of Big Sam that has done him in here. He thought he was the cookie that got the cream and was untouchable.

What an idiot he is. To reach the pinnacle of your career and throw it all away like this is insanity.

Surely his agent/financial advisor should have atleast tried to search these "business men" on LinkedIn first before agreeing to meet..

What was the point of doing this? I could understand it if he was open to bungs and exposing corruption or something...
I don't even like him, don't want him as England manager but the press are just pathetic.

If he didnt break the law...why did he lose his job? Just saying.

Idiot, no way can you feel sorry for him. A job worth millions and he screws it up for a measly £100k just to feel like a big man! Too big for his boots and now his career is finished!

I feel a bit sorry for Fat Sam even if he's been really dumb here. This is the job he's dreamed of all his life and for it to be taken away in such a way after only 1 game must be a real downer.

Same opinion really. Can't help feeling sorry for him as funny as i think it is that its all his own doing. Poor sam :(

Reap what you sow.

If at any point, he'd taken a moment to think about how his actions might compromise his 'dream' job, he'd of backed away.

But he didn't.

The ridiculous Rooney comments are what I'll remember. Just hope Southgate has the balls to make big decisions, but probably not as an interim.

Sam Allardyce is an idiot. I always thought he was an intelligent man and a talented football manager. He got his dream job and with a past linked to corruption, I'd have thought he would keep his head down but he has to open his big mouth.

However, as much as we can question his integrity, I'm not sure the media are angels here either.

We aren't blessed with replacements. Steve Bruce is the easy pick, but quite underwhelming. Maybe they will try for Eddie Howe.
