Telegraph Investigation: England Manager Sam Allardyce For Sale | Big Sam leaves England job

Same opinion really. Can't help feeling sorry for him as funny as i think it is that its all his own doing. Poor sam :(

I don't feel sorry for him at all. He had a part time job paying £3 million a year. If he wasnt a greedy sod, he would still have it, but a promise of £100K was all it took to get him in that room to talk bowlocks.

be satisifed with teh £3 million and you never get in that position at all.

I'd also be firing my financial guy if I were him, what the feck happened to due diligence. He should have stopped it getting that far.

You either die a hero or live long enough to yourself become the villain

If he didnt break the law...why did he lose his job? Just saying.

Criticized his employer in public? If I go out and speak to all and sundry that my employer is an idiot, I won't expect to be in a job too long if they hear about it.

Not to mention his suggestions of breaking football transfer rules, criticism of Roy and of the HMRC. You can't do that stuff as England manager :wenger:

It's possible for a person to make a silly mistake and still be worthy of sympathy.

Honestly he deserves it, his greed and stupidity cost him his dream job!

Where did he say the FA are idiots?

I also don't understand why he's not allowed an opinion of Hodgson.

What the national set up badly needs is some transparent and honesty.

Just have to be so careful, especially when you are famous. Everyone turns into a journalist.

I feel a bit sorry for him. If every time I went out with mates or had lunch with a colleague and had to worry about journalists taping the conversation, I wouldn't be too inclined on saying much. It serves as a reminder that in today's world, everyone has a camera phone and can tape everything you do. A bit Orwellian. Just have to be so careful in today's world.

The once change he got for a big job and he blew it. Redknapp will probably never get the job seeing as he's seen in similar light to Allardyce now.

Hull, Swansea, Stoke, West Ham and Sunderland jobs will all be up for grabs and i doubt would care what he did or didn't do, as long as he keeps them in the league.

That said, it will be hard to see him going back at West Ham..

To think that Fellaini was considering changing nationality to play under him.
