Kroos' difensive contribution is questionable but Mourinho did get defensive works out of Fabregas, so I won't worry much. Can't see Kroos going to Bayern, PSG and Arsenal don't need him. So it should be between ourselves and the Berties. In that case, it'll depend on how good a snake-oil salesman Mourinho is and how well Pep and Kroos still get on.

With a bit of scouting £20m would get you 2-3 strikers of similar quality in other markets.

I wonder where EPL clubs would be if they actually had decent Scouting networks like other leagues and with the salaries they can afford they can easily pull great players from the 2nd tier clubs, but they will actually do is spend Millions on Average players. Give the 100 Million to Atletico and Juventus and they will make a world class 11 with that amount of money.
