Strange transfer window for Swansea, selling Ashley Williams seems like poor business.

Should we hijack? If Jose wants an experienced defender, and the fee isn't any larger than that...?

I agree. There's no point in going after players in Garay and Miranda when we could sign Williams for 12 million. Would be a great signing.

Pogba was an absolute steal!!

Agree, Stones has the potential but he is a million miles away at the moment and more a liability, crazy. Also for £30m Bailly is a steal, same age Stones seems more comfy on the ball tho Bailly is also good, but Bailly from the few games seems much better in all areas and has more potential than Stones and is far more progressed already as well, lets face it Stones was awful last year. How much have City spent on centre backs going back to Lescott is incredible.

Are people being a bit carried away with Williams because of Wales? A decent defender, good leader but not top 4 quality, tho £12m a good deal for Everton

SkySources proven to have been talking shit with their John Stones reporting this morning. Clearly they had no fecking clue what was going on and started spouting shit about an 'administrative error'. For Stones to be in the squad he had to have signed a contract before midnight yesterday, yet they were citing a 'source' at the club that apparently stated otherwise in spite of that being literally impossible.

I don't know about you lot but I'm really excited to see who the next player to get seriously linked to United is

It's been years since we've been in a position where we aren't desperate for a signing. Will be nice to follow a transfer story without too much fear of it going tits up

Both good bits of business IMO, I was hoping we might be interested in Ashley Williams.

Agreed, it will be nice to have a less tense set of transfer sagas.

Don't rate Stones but people have hardly seen Bailly play either.

We tend to do this every summer, hype our signings to no end only to tear them down at any sign of mistakes.@

Benatia was on a plane to Manchester just last year according to them. We had made a downpayment for Falcao in 2013. They are very poor nowadays.

Yep, I remember when they used to be one of the better ones by a mile, now it's clear they just repeat what foreign journalists are saying and dress it up as 'SkySources', along with occasionally just talking bollocks.

How much would Young fetch us, really? He's 31 no, surprised by that I may add, and has two years left on his contract.

In the same ballpark as the Ashley Swansea is selling?

He never complained and always seemed to do his best when he played so i have nothing against him and he seems a nice guy as well. I hope he picks a club were he can play regularly for the rest of his career.

With Young and Schweini, it's more so a case of moving their wages off the books, which would be in excess of Pogba's wages. Similar to a year ago when we removed wages for Falcao, Di Maria, RVP, Henandez, and Rafael.

Can't say I would be mad if Young is sold. Martial, Mkhitaryan, Rashford, Lingard and Memphis are ahead of him on Jose's pecking order for Wingers I know money isn't really an object for us but 100k per week on your 6th choice Winger? Would much rather use that on another defender.

I imagine the fee would be minimal to accommodate the wages he'd demand.

Wouldn't mind losing him tbh..
More or less a decent squad player but nothing more. With his wages above 100k a week he's pretty expensive too.

He’s served the club for a while now and I think a move would be the best for all parties.
Hopefully we sell him for an appropriate fee though since he isn't a bad player and could be very well for a mid-table team!
