I admit I don't see Mata here beyond this season, but so far the indicators are that Jose rates Blind as he's clocked more minutes than anyone else and has been chosen over Jones and Rojo to partner Bailly while Smalling's out, and outside of Castles most recent articles have Rojo and Jones as the 2 at the head of the CB dump cue.

-They do not consider him worth the amount bid
-They do not consider him worth the outlay across a season
-Ronaldo/Bale will always be considered more important and "better"

I am more than happy with all of those being facts as him as a player will have taken this all on board and considering his profile and stature commercially and within the game his next move would have to tick a lot of the boxes.

Selling Blind is a nonsense, he's clearly Jose's third choice CB ahead of Jones and Rojo, and he's also a better back up to Shaw than Rojo.
Id be amazed if we sold Blind it would be idiotic, solid player at CB LB and CDM technically very tidy and versatile. Id be looking at Rojo to be shipped out and as well as Fellaini who are both quite shit.
