I doubt Fellaini is for sale.

He's one of our better midfielders and Jose has already mentioned that he is an important player for him.

Moyes spent the majority of his Everton tenure whining whenever someone talked about his players. It's just hypocritical for him to do the same .
Did Jose said the same thing when he sold Mata to us?

For us? Very much so.

Think Januzaj has said he would rather be sold than another loan spell. Can't say I blame him.

£30m would probably get them Fellaini and Januzaj on permanent deals.
 - make it happen!!

That's an improvement on past outgoings although I can't see anyone paying £25m for Januzaj based on the last 2 seasons
Yeah doubt it. But saying that Liverpool got £15m for Ibe and Januzaj has much more potential. In other words, it would be what other teams would pay to bring someone of similar quality/potential in.

[
No.

In fact with Mata it was the complete opposite to this. All the Mendes affiliated journalists said Mata didnt fit Mourinho's plans and would be sold, and no one believed them at the time.

With Fellaini, they all keep saying that he will not be sold.
i said it in his thread. It could be That Fellaini wants to go.

Nah, when the likes of Ibe and Townsend worth 15m and Mané 36m then we MUST ask at least 30m for Fellaini. He's a good player and he would still be the best player for a lot of lesser teams in the PL. Januzaj would probably go for around 15m if you ask me but as i said i hope we don't sell him.

I very much doubt that.

He seems very determined to make it here, and doesnt really seem bothered by the naysayers. As long as Jose wants him, he'll stay.

Jose has already said that all the players he doesnt want wouldnt play a single minute, Fellaini has played and done well.

The caf believes Fellaini is being sold each year. Wasnt he off to Italy lasy year?

Zidane has a habit of saying exactly those words for a lot of players..

He is a big time manager now, he feels he has the right to do so......

Not sure about last year but in 2014 there were widespread reports that he was going on loan before he got injured.
Fellaini isn't going to be first choice. He simply might want to go where he plays regularly.

Got injured for two windows in a row didn't he? Timing is everything!

Both Sky and the Mail are reporting a £30m fee, that's a bargain for someone with his potential and great negotiation on City's part, we should be all over this deal at that price.
It'll be closer to €50m. If it was around £30m it'd have been wrapped up well before now. As talented as he may be I don't think we need that inconsistency right now. If he has a lull in form and it coincides with Martial going through a rough patch too we'd be a bit stuck.

I imagine £30mil is the base fee, there's bound to be a bucnh of add ons.

Schalke aren't really strapped for cash are they? And they know City have bottomless pockets.

I think that from now on we should insist that all youth players sold on have a 2 year buy back release clause as standard. 30m flat fee ensuring if they become world beaters the selling club get a good fee and the lower initial investment isnt so hard to swallow.

Ibe was on around a salary around £2m per year less year than Januzaj is on, so it's very unlikely they'd go for a similar fee.

I don't think many clubs would agree to that.

We can already play Rashford on the right, and Rashford is an exceptional talent too.

Buying Sane would take our spending to near enough £200m, and we still need defensive signings.

I agree. I thought we needed another attacking player originally. But for the front four attacking positions potential players could fill the roles:

Ibrahimovic
Martial
Rashford
Depay
Januzaj
Perreira
Miki
Rooney
Pogba
Lingaard
Mata
Fellaini
Valencia

That is a lot!

Would be a good signing for them. But he's good enough to play in the premier league

Not debating whether we need Sane or not, but Valencia and Fellaini definitely won't feature as part of a front four IMO. The latter hopefully being sold. Additionally Januzaj will probably leave (sold), as well as Pereira (loan), so that reduces it by four.

Basically we're looking at Zlatan, Martial, Rashford, Rooney, Mhikitaryan, Memphis, Mata, Lingard and possibly Pogba. Still a lot of options mind you.

Alot of respect to Jamie Vardy

He showed the younger generation of premier league fans that there is something called loyalty and could go down in history of having the same impact as Alan Sherar did in the premier league by been one of the best season after season even though he isn't at any of the big 5 clubs.

Respect?

He's a racist cheat. That's not how a 'role model' should be.

Wasn't he really highly rated at Sporting? I remember being surprised when he left them for Galatasaray.
Very highly rated. If moving to galatasaray wasn't idiotic enough, I think he's recently turned down a move to sevilla too. The pussy must be incredible there.

Its a bit unfair to label someone a racist forever due to one drunken remark.

I don't even have the words he said in my vocabulary. Drunk or not, I don't care. Sex offenders always have their offences on their record even if one person was 16 and the other was 15. Racism is a horrible thing.

Also, being drunk isn't being a very good role model too.

Your comparing sex offenses to a one off drunken remark?

What person has never been drunk?

You have lived a very sheltered life if you have never heard racist remarks as well mate.

#Pogba last days of vacation in the States , from next week will be a Red Devils . Despite the " we'll see " and denials on Social Media ; )
