You can have whatever opinion, thats fair mate. I like to support our players even if they are not good enough. Smalling is a good example of a player who many though was shit. I am happy that someone backed him and that he didn't leave. I am not saying Fellaini will be great under Mourinho, but since he still is one of us, I will support him.

That's fair enough as well, I mean I support Lingard who gets dogs on here, but I understand some think he's not good enough and taking up a spot that could be filled by a better player that would make us a better squad, which is also fair enough.

That's the fecking spirit!
Good!!!

I'm bored of the Fellaini Bashing. If he is deemed good enough by Jose then that is good enough for me. If he gets in the Starting 11 it will be on Merit. If he is on the bench it will be on Merit. If he doesn't make the Match Day Squad so be it.

The biggest problems with Fellaini is that he was signed by Moyes (for far too much money), he looks awkward and gangly, he has a stupid haircut, he has a mean/dirty streak and he doesn't play the prettiest football.

That being said he was far, far, far from our worst player last Season (and the Season before).

If Jose rates him he will stay and we should get behind him rather than continue to make him a scapegoat due to the last three years.

Not debating whether we need Sane or not, but Valencia and Fellaini definitely won't feature as part of a front four IMO. The latter hopefully being sold. Additionally Januzaj will probably leave (sold), as well as Pereira (loan), so that reduces it by four.

Basically we're looking at Zlatan, Martial, Rashford, Rooney, Mhikitaryan, Memphis, Mata, Lingard and possibly Pogba. Still a lot of options mind you.

Totally agree with you, they are currently all options though like you say will undoubetly change

I don't blindly support a player who should be nowhere near a Manchester United shirt.

Spot on, I feel exactly the same. I respect that he gives his all, but that should be a given (sadly not nowadays) but really he is shit. Someone mentioned earlier about long ball philosphies and yes he is good as that kind of player, but that should never have been the kind of player we signed.

Fosu Mensah being described as a wonder kid? Give me strength, it's amazing how quickly people on here go overboard.

I guess it depends on how you describe a wonderkid? For me it is someone who is progressed already beyond his age and has the potential and attributes to be a top top player....so I would class him as a wonderkid.

Fellaini can easily go to a much better club in Europe and even England. Much rather stays as a squad player here than to join David fecking Moyes.

I totally agree, for me I think he always try's hard when his playing, yes he can be dirty but at least he try's. I don't get the bashing he's had on here, the price we paid has nothing to do with him and also the club agreed to buy him which I bet anyone on here wouldn't say no to playing for UTD!

I saw him described on here the other day as a potentially world class midfielder.

He's played two minutes in the first team as a midfielder, as an 88th minute substitute at Norwich.

I like the lad a lot, but people need to give him chance to breathe and develop.

Well to be fair we have only signed one wonder kid in Martial. Thankfully LvG stumbled upon Rashford who (touch wood) looks the real deal.

We signed Martial , Shaw and Mensah

Rashford emerged , Tuanzbe and Williams are knocking on the door

We already got Pogba too

Bar Dortmund no other club signed more wonderkids than us

Spot on. Always amazes me that people on here keep saying they want players to fight for their place. Fellaini says it, and people explode.

 Are you serious? Do you ever actually watch him? He's terrible. Does absolutely nothing, so useless

One poor season and he is written off entirely. I bet anything you would not have said this a year ago. Would be a great signing for Leicester or Soton or similar.

It's more than one poor season now. He's only had 1 good season for Chelsea.

 It's not been 1 shit season. He had a good first season, average 2nd and the rest were just shit.

Ah well. Opinions.

I think he may well be at the wrong level but could be a quality player in a consistent No.10 role for a midranking team. So many mercurial attacking players at top clubs get dicked about and can't reach the top level. He is one of these.

We should sign Oscar. We could put him on the bench and assign Rui Faria to whisper "cnut" in his ear every 30 seconds for letting Jose down last year.

Oscar leaving Chelsea while Mata staying with us and he left Chelsea because Oscar was seen as better option.
