I don't get the constant references to Troy Deeney on here for the whoooole summer. Watford have a right to say a player isn't for sale. Everyone has now chosen to interpret that as some sort of 'well if Troy Deeney is worth £30+m'. It's ridiculous. They have put no value on him. We'd likely reject £30m for Rashford, maybe even far more - which doesn't mean that any team with a player they are open to selling who has done more than Rashford should only accept bids far more than United rejected.

Darmian is useful to have simply because he has a solid defensive player who can cover equally well on either side of fullback. Why would you get rid of that, especially when one fullback is coming off a leg break, while the other is a winger converted to fullback over 30 years of age? With Mourinho I see no reason why Darmian can't actually become a good player and suit the team.

Agreed, he's a good player and should play for a bigger club than Hull. If Everton sell Lukaku to Chelsea they could certainly do a lot worse than getting Bony as his replacement.
