PSG make a €32m offer for Valencia.
They can have two of him for that much! They'd even get two working feet that way!

I wonder if I'm the only one who rates Valencia. Yes his positioning is not great but he's still the most reliable RB we have. No winger in the league would get past him on a one v one situation and attack wise he offers more than most. We would be very foolish to sell him given his consistent output.
Fabregas to United...hope not!!!
I agree. Not the kind of midfielder we need imo. We need to replace Carrick, while Fabregas would be more suitable for the other position in the 4-2-3-1 setup imo, or even in the #10 position. Unless Fabregas has developed some extensive defensive positioning and reading of the game i'm unaware of, i see our resources better spent elsewhere.

Facing up a defender and passing backwards is output?
His positioning is awful and he has no sense of angles. Being strong and somewhat fast isn't enough, yet somehow those qualities seem to blind people to his many deficiencies.I rate him very highly, I think his positioning is good and he is by far our most reliable rb. Nobody can take him on as he is faster and stronger than all wingers, also has a decent pass on him. Yes his crossing isn't up to much but neither is shaw's and everyone loves him. Valencia is just too hesitant, if Mourinho can add risk to his game he could be a fantastic fullback for transition play and counter attacks. The general opinion of him on here is just daft, people actually wanting Varela to play ahead of him.

Don't get me wrong, i'm not saying he is a shit footballer, he is very good when used properly. I just think we need someone with a different skill set than he has at the moment. I think he'd be competing with Rooney/Mata/Mkhitaryan for the #10 spot, when what we need is someone who makes us less dependent on Carrick. That or being the alternative to buying Pogba, in which case I just... I just hope we can do better than buy Fabregas at 29. But like i said, he is a very good player.I really rate him, he gets a lot of shit from the caf he doesn't deserve just for someone to scapegoat, but 30 odd million for him is a fee you can't really refuse at his age if true.
Like i said just above, could be an alternative to sign Pogba, i just hope our aims are higher than Fabregas at 29...would only make some sense if we werent signing pogba

They can well and truly feck off.
I'd be happy about this move if it includes a buy back clause. Pereira deserves first team football.
