PSG make a €32m offer for Valencia.

 We make profit off A.Valencia, who isn't as good as he used to be!

Sure.

So Cesc's good bye tweet to Mou was genuine and the below, were genuine?
http://www.bbc.com/sport/football/36079097

Hmm... Why not? He's in good form is one of the best in the league. A friend of Mourinho would help speeding up our progress of winning the title. Cesc is very different from Pogba, so there is still chance we can get Pogba too. Just more secured if Juventus would be able to block Pogba move.

Probably not happen though since it's Mirror.

What if contrary to common belief, some of those being dropped during Mourinho last years were actually his allies, while mainstay like Ivanovic was the real enemy having Abramovic's backing?! :nervous:

Only notice this just now. Weird transfer.

This guy is seeking for play time and keeping joining club where competition for starting spot is difficult. He is genuine left back whenever I see him. Barcelona lack right back...

They were linked with him on loan in January too. If it is a loan I wouldn't mind at all.
No the Sun article that article is quoting says Ranieri now wants Pereira on a permanent transfer. I think if we were to sell we should put a Morata esque clause. As otherwise, if we do sell we'd get like £5m, only for Leicester to sell for £30m in a few years.

I agree. Not the kind of midfielder we need imo. We need to replace Carrick, while Fabregas would be more suitable for the other position in the 4-2-3-1 setup imo, or even in the #10 position. Unless Fabregas has developed some extensive defensive positioning and reading of the game i'm unaware of, i see our resources better spent elsewhere.

I wouldn't mind William Cavaliho superseding Carrick. Impressive in the Euros.

Wasn't it Fabregas who was one of the key players behind Mou losing the dressing room at Chelsea?

Read last few pages. There are links to articles.

Fabregas was one of closest allies of Mourinho.

Would be a fantastic loan move for Andreas.

He would be guaranteed game time at a very high level with the amount of games Leicester will be playing next season.

Could be the making of him as a player.

Not sure Leicester would suit him playing style wise though a loan move would really benefit him selfishly I would rather he is kept in our squad.

Though he didnt really take the few opportunities he had and doesnt look ready to be a starter at all for me, I would like to see him get more opportunities from the bench

I wonder if I'm the only one who rates Valencia. Yes his positioning is not great but he's still the most reliable RB we have. No winger in the league would get past him on a one v one situation and attack wise he offers more than most. We would be very foolish to sell him given his consistent output.

I rate Valencia as our best right back but we could get better. Ideally we'd buy and keep him. But that is to good an offer in my opinion to turn down. It allows us to buy better.

Please please please be because he's coming here.

A back four of Bailly, Manolas, Smalling and Shaw would have all the pace we'd ever need. We'd be sorted for a good few years too.

Bailly is a CB, hasnt even started playing for us and you are already shoving him out of position

Yes replace one static player by an even more static player. Willian Carvalho looked so slow like the tempo of the euros was constantly way too fast for him. The one thing Carrick can still do is play a pass which Carvalho never could.

Carrick is here still mostly on name alone, not because he is actually usefull on the pitch. I am very happy he will be gone next season and I hope his game time this season will be extremly limited. If we replace him by a guy like Carvalho, I'll be fuming.

We need energy in the midfield. Players like Kante is what we should be looking at.

Are there any better more reliable and consistent available? At a time where teams like Barca and City are struggling to find good attacking RBs in the current market the idea that we should sell our best RB just doesn't sit well with me. If the next Cafu was available I would be all for it. Do you have any players in mind?

Please no. One of the most overhyped players ever.
I'm not biggest fan myself, for different reasons, but how is that? Just a year ago, after Chelsea won the PL he was hailed for his excellent season, and most people here begrudged that we hadn't signed him. Now, after a collectively horrendous season for Chelsea, he's suddenly one of the most overhyped players?

I don't think there is any truth in the rumour, but I actually think he could do a great job for a couple of season at Old Trafford, so if he's available for a reasonable amount, I don't think it would be a bad idea to sign him.

He had a good first five months that season then disappeared in the second half.

That twitter account stating that Valencia rumour talks absolute rubbish, I'm not one to call for things to be blacklisted, but that one certainly should.
You just killed my hopes, just like you killed Jesus'.

That's true. But even though he's had 1 1/2 underwhelming seasons at Chelsea doesn't mean that he's necessarily extremely overhyped. He was brilliant at Arsenal, and he did fairly well at Barca, although it wasn't the best fit.

He's certainly more creative and has better passing ability than any of the players we have in central midfield currently(besides maybe Schweini and Carrick, both of whom we seemingly can't depend on for a whole season). And as I stated I'm not his biggest fan, and it's not a dream signing, but I think he would do better than some posters make it sound.

I'd like Coleman but if we push for another centre back I may be wrong but can Bailey not play right back? We also have Jones TFM and Darmain on the books yet big question marks over all them as TFM inexperience and Jones and Darmain have fitness and even capability question marks granted so I do get your point. But it is a lot of money for Valencia and there are a few decent right backs out there. The Chelsea boy was apparently available and there will be more Jesus add another £20 million and that's what Juve are apparently rating Bonnuci at! Makes you think imo.

DAMNIT! That is a bargain, we should have gone for him. Would have given our frontline and other two midfielders so much less defensive responsibility.

Hopefully that Kante deal isn't true,

I can't see why we aren't interested in him for that price.

I think the Kante deal is in the bag for Chelsea. There were rumours that Kante wants to work with Conte weeks ago.

Well good post, excpet thast he wasnt hailed for anything. Most people noticed he went missing after a good start to the season.

It is pure speculation imo, as Conte plays with a 3-5-2 formation and Fabregas doesn't fit in it as they have Hazard for a AM role. Take into consideration that he probably has a good relationship with Jose and you have a good idea for a new article ;)

Quite simple, because we've got his position covered, albeit with players of a different style (Carrick, Schneiderlin, to a certain extend Schweinsteiger). It's not worth throwing that kind of money at Kante IMO, despite his excellent season I feel he's quite limited. Our problems are further forward as well which Jose identified swiftly. If Carrick is managed properly I won't be surprised to see him have a much better season than the last couple.
