surely, we must be in this if they have to go 'plan b'. when was the last time they went plan b?

Plan B in Spain means mouthing off to to the press about this and that player should come to Spain to play for us
Plan C is contacting his agent behind the clubs back

Higuain & Xakha would improve Arsenal tremendously.

He clearly doesnt want Pogba to go to United

No. He's looking at it objectively. He thinks 100 million pounds is too much. Which it is. He's a pretty honest guy.

His criticism is aimed mostly at the hype surrounding Pogba. There's nothing there castigating towards United. In fact, you could say that he's being perfectly neutral.

If it were Arsenal or Barca he wouldnt be so neutral mate. He is clearly dismissing the current market trend

Id be very surprised if Jose allowed BFS to leave.

Some of the English journos seem to think he's going to get sold. There's a lot of smoke here, and it would make sense if we get Matuidi and Pogba.

It would be ideal if we looked to the youth team and found players ready to step up every time a position in the first team became available, and never had to delve into the transfer market at all. I'm dreaming, I know. But imagine how dominant we'd become if we ever attain that utopian position.

I'm afraid you're dreaming indeed. Not doable with the number of players in the youth setup today imo. Would have to play the Chelsea game to make that happen, plus doing what we do today, only better. And tbh we are having quite a record with youth development, with quite a few players in the top 2 divisions.

Of course we could start our own gene modification lab, i guess that is the best bet :devil:
