Television Suits

I haven't picked this up since the mid-season break in season 2, does it keep chugging along well?

At least I think it is the mid season break....

when Louis found out Mike didn't attend Harvard by going through the filing cabinet

The first 2 season were easily the best.
The third season was a bit samey with Hessington Oil saga dragging out. The fourth season started badly when Mike was an Investment Banker but it finished strong with the last few episodes.

Looking forward to this starting again, going to be interesting where they go with the 'bad guy' Louis storyline.

The Louis character is a joke. Introduced as a ruthless duplicitous lawyer with few scruples, then the actor got fat and the acting got camper, then there was that fecking "cat trial". I hate him for all the wrong reasons.

Absolutely spot on. Just watch the first episode and he's a dynamite bad guy. Now he's just daft and seems to cock up everything.

Are there any legitmate ways to watch the the remaining episodes in the UK, whether on Sky, Netflix etc. within the next month?

I'm more than happy to stream, but it sometimes finds me a while to find streams that are up to my standard

It was good but they definitely found a way to 'nullify' Louis a bit too easy with the paper signing, something that's always been the case with Suits and big reveals, they usually fix them pretty quickly so normal business can resume for Mike and Harvey.

Still very enjoyable though. Should be a good six episodes.

Kinda true, tbh they couldn't have dragged the situation with Louis being the ultimate cnut that he was towards everyone. They could have toned him down and therefore the situation could have lasted one or two more episodes.

I didn't think it was that bad but I struggle to see where they are going to storyline wise in the future

Going from how they've resolved problems in the past it'll be something simple like Donna talking Louis round and him helping Harvey win a case so everyone is friends again.

The whole thing has gone a bit ridiculous. Louis should have never found out. It would be nice if they got back to being a show about law and cases etc for the rest of the season.

I forgot just how hot Meghan Markle is!!

"Pearson.. Specter... LITT"

Suits is brilliant, I've watched all the seasons in the space of a few weeks to catch up now.

The first two season were brilliant when it was a bunch of slick talking cool dudes kicking ass in all their cases. I haven't enjoyed seasons 3 & 4 as much.

I agree - I like the show the most when they are figuring out how to win particular cases, rather than the 'broader' plots that actually detract from what made the show so enjoyable.

That roof scene at the start was bloody awful. Louis is such a shit lawyer too, he seems to feck up every case.

I haven't watched last episode yet, but this happened a lot in last 10-15 episodes, and it's ridiculous because they were insisting that he was actually excellent lawyer, almost on par with Harvey and even better in some things but they turned him into rookie all of a sudden.

I think most people prefer that but if that's all they did it would be in danger of getting to heavy and would become boring.

It was horrible. Seen this from the director.

I must say, I'm starting to be put off by the show. I enjoyed the first two seasons, and the third one to a lesser extent. I've become a bit bored of this current season and not sure where they can go with it, to continue making the show interesting. We'll see anyway. I'll definitely keep watching for now.

Nah. Grey's Anatomy is all about people sleeping with each other. Law & Order is always the same. So is NCIS, CSI and all that crap. These shows are popular because they stick with the same formula that enough people like.

Agree - I loved watching House but that was the same premise / setup every week - someone has mysterious illness, team struggles to diagnose it, House has a eureka moment - and I was fine with that as that was what made the show fun to watch.

I still really enjoy Suits, but feel it has moved away from what it is when it is at its best.

I also agree about Louis - there was never any doubt that he was an excellent lawyer, and in some instances was superior to Harvey. Now he is a buffoon who makes elemental mistakes. In the first couple of season's, he would have needed Harvey or Mike to have helped him out of a hole. More recently it seems anyone is able to, so inferring that almost anyone is smarter than him.

Still love it though - and particularly liked the Top Gun dialogue!
