There were certainly an abundance of flags in the Swansea game - I can't comment on what they were made of.
Plastic flags are the pathetic obsession of Liverpool fans - up there with Suarez being persecuted by the British media and Reina winning Golden Gloves awards.

For my sins I have a mate who is a big Liverpool fan and he was there today and ranting about Suarez afterwards on Facebook calling him a horrible fecking rat.
Let's stop all this bickering amongst ourselves. Liverpool fans, Chelsea fans, Arsenal fans, you're all wankers and I don't know why you're on this site really, but let's put our differences aside and focus on the real issue at hand here:

They can. Wenger's just being Wenger about the transfer. This is why David Dein is sorely missed at Arsenal as this would have been sorted out already one way or the other. OR...Maybe he doesn't want to spend a whopping 50 million on Suarez and not have enough to strengthen other parts of the squad. Either way, the longer they take to get quality in, the more stagnated they become as a football team.
Wenger being wenger doesnt really mean anything tbh. He worked within constraints and now that they have the cash, he's willing to spend. Back to point, I dont see why an extra 10mil will prevent him from strengthening other areas. Its more a matter of principle and not being willing to pay more than what you think a player is worth but I just think that with the market really going crazy, normal clubs too will have to adapt if they want the best players. Either that or hope that the player in question throws a strop and forces his way out which I dont see players from clubs like Pool doing to move to a club like Arsenal, no disrespect intended.

It used to be fine, then Glastonspur happened.
He does seem like the culprit, indeed. He might still be a nice enough chap though - probably visits his grandmother every other week and serves a nice cup of tea.
Back to Suarez; it is beyond me how any club would want him. He may be a good footballer, but not sensational like Ronaldo or Messi. Only this season has he been productive; otherwise he tended to hit the odd lady on the 17 row more often than the goal after dribbling past six players. There is no guarantee that he will be as good next season.

I don't even know why most Chelsea fans seem to hate Liverpool so much to be honest. I honestly couldn't give a flying fart about them.
They're probably just looking for a meaningful rivalry since, to be fair, they're not really that important.
If you're looking for someone to hate the scousers are always a good bet.
