Not qualifying for the Champions League.

So Liverpool not qualifying for the CL supersedes all of his prior cnutish on-field behaviour then ? We're the bad guys for having audacity to expect a player, who we backed to the hilt during the aforementioned 'cnutish behaviour', to honour a contract he was only too happy to sign just 12 months prior.

You're not his agent are you ?

When you lot were backing him to the hilt, did you really not see how inevitable all this was? I've got no sympathy for your lot, it's almost poetic watching him feck you over.

He has embarrassed Liverpool as a football club. Hilarious.

It's incredible looking back over the whole situation. If it was written as some sort of satire, it would have been panned as being too over the top and ridiculous.

I'm not sure you should expect anything from Luis Suarez, you've experienced all the previous 'cnutish behaviour.' The reason you backed him to the hilt throughout all of the nonsense wasn't due to some act of altruism, it was because he was your best player and someone who you probably couldn't replace with someone of equal quality. That said, I hope you hold your ground and don't give him what he wants, at least show him that he's not always going to get his way even when he's being a dickhead given he was willing to sign that contract and accepted the terms of it.

 at the time watching it all unfold was surreal, nearly everyone had an air of 'Really...?? You guys aren't serious? Surely?........ Wow...'

Maybe it was the £40 million & a pound that might have gotten up their noses, & they decided to bring it out in the open. The fact is, our manager, MD, & the owners, have all stated that they don't wish to sell Suarez under any circumstances. Rodgers now talking about £100 million pound for the guy isn't exactly a: 'give us a call Arsene & we'll see if we can do business' type of message is it ? So if our club have stated he's not for sale, & they don't want to sell. Why does Wenger keep making bids ? & trying to rub our nose in it at the same time.

So tell me. If the article is biased towards Liverpool, what justification does Suarez have in wanting out a mere 12 months after signing a contract extension, & claiming how much he loved it at Liverpool ? So what exactly have/are Liverpool doing wrong by Luis Suarez ?

The + £1 was probably silly on our behalf but clearly we are trying to test this clause we thought existed. I'd agree we shouldn't of done that and should of done that differently. I mean if we wanted to wind you up then something like £40,000,019.89 would of been better :p Didn't Rodgers & Liverpool promise not to take any Swansea players for a year and then bid for Joe Allen? So you clubs aren't exactly saints themselves to be fair.

As for Rodgers, didn't he also say Reina would not be leaving? One thing you need to understand is mate every player has a price and part of keeping the fans on their side clubs have to be seen as making it hard for a player to leave. Look at Spurs handling of the Bale thing, they will let him go but they are gonna squeeze them for as much as they can. Your lot also said Torres wouldn't be sold but let him go as well. So all this club saying the player is not for sale is nonsense, Rodgers also said "If Arsenal want the player they have to produce the value for the player". Doesn't sound like a man who will sell at no cost. As for why we are making bids, it is because we want to sign the player and he clearly wants to leave the club. This is just part of life, clubs will make bids for players especially those unsettled and if you really don't want to sell keep rejecting the bid, no need to take it personally. Take this from personal experience but what clubs say in public and what they really isn't always the same. A bit like politics really, don't trust everything that is said.

As for Suarez wanting to leave, I don't know the ins and outs of why he signed his new contract. It might of been to give him a pay rise as he was clearly your best player. Since he arrived at the club has the club really moved forward or look like they will push on? From the outside it doesn't look like that is the case so you can see why he wants to leave.

Liverpool are wavering - that much is clear.

Suarez has gone from not for sale to 'if a mega-bid comes in he'll go.'

In the end, Liverpool will accept a big bid and let the whole saga end there.

I'm liking how Arsenal fans are sounding increasingly desperate as each day passes. It's gone gradually from 'I don't want the cheating, racist, biting cnut!!!!' to them convincing themselves that Liverpool are going to sell, despite constant reiterations from our manager and managing director that this isn't going to happen.

£10 to the Caf it does?

I hope Suarez stays at Liverpool. Watching Liverpool fans wag their tails at him however hard he kicks them always raises a smile.
I look forward to what he's going to do next.

Saying Arsenal lacking class is hilarious but this is the Liverpool Way. Outraged by everything and ashamed of nothing. It's ok as long as they're the ones doing it. They certainly didn't have any problem going behind Middlesbrough's back to tap up Christian Ziege.

So this big bid. When will you be giving us the £60m? Now or 2nd September? Bear in mind this is big spending Arsenal we're talking about? :)

He was always for sale for mega money.

Liverpool and their obsession with "class" is absolutely embarrassing. I've never heard one club or their supporters describe THEMSELVES as "classy" with such alarming regularity, particularly in spite of the litanty of unsavoury incidents they have been involved with in their illustrious "history".

Why did Liverpool supporters think Suarez would behave any differently after watching his utterly cnutish antics over the last few years?

Beacuse they're all knobheads. Hope this answers your question

They're not eating from the top table anymore so they need something, someone to give them a sense of worth. It was Reina with his golden gloves bollocks (better than winning the league) then Torres (he destroyed United at Old Trafford dont'cha know - even though he profited on a long ball and a feck up from Vidic) now Suarez (he gets us la, best striker in the world etc)
Once he fecks off, it'll be that Coutinho blokes turn to be hero worshipped until he fecks off next summer to better things. And then the cycle will continue with some other poor cnut

8 years of winning feck all does that.

Wenger's interview about Arsenal player and values was amusing considering he's bidding 40m for a racist and a cnut.

You really are a bore. You posted the same crap in the newbies
and most of your posts on LFC on here follow the same path.

All coming from a Chelsea fan.!

Such a shame no one from Spain or Italy seem interested. Would be great if he went to Milan and I could just forget about him.

I just fecking hate Liverpool. Nasty, self-aggrandising deluded and hypocritical bunch who will have their thieving fingers scorched yet again by one of their favourite sons.

The perils of being a second tier football club eh?

The idea that one group of football fans is more embarrassing than others is so alien to me.

Liverpool fans should be embarrassed of their support of Suarez just as Chelsea fans should be embarrassed of their treatment of Rafa and worship of Abramovic just as City fans should be embarrassed by their small time nature just as United fans should be embarrassed at how spoiled some of their fanbase are.

At least none of these clubs play The Liquidator after they score, something that is truly embarrassing.

Agree - we should all get along and have some group wanking going on.

It's not the fact that they are embarrassing, idolise Harold Shipman whilst demanding "justice for the 96", charge turnstiles en masse, set English football back for a generation, rock ambulances, burn shirts, make aeroplane gestures etc but that they genuinely seem to believe that their club and supporters are the epitome of class that I find so inexplicable.

Rodgers has done it again, here. The clear implication is how "classy" Liverpool FC are by comparison.

your lot are as bad as the scousers for the Munich stuff.

Errrr, no - not even close. I've never heard any kind of Munich song sung in a Chelsea away end - let alone see inflatable planes getting lobbed around at Old Trafford or huge sections of the away end singing "who's that dying on the runway?" like they were in the recent FA Cup game.

No one is as bad as the Scousers for Munich stuff. You'd think after Hillsborough that they might be a bit more self-aware, but self-awareness has never been a quality of that lot. It's so entrenched in their DNA that even their Thai fans were at it.

Maybe i've just imagined it all then.......

Can you provide examples to justify your claim? Chelsea and United have never had a fierce rivalry (even though we have been United's bogey team in the Premier League era). It's always a big game, but you just don't get the vitriol of a United v Liverpool game.

I've seen it in the 80's (FA Cup game at OT springs to mind 2-0 to Utd, big Chelsea following)
Also, the European 1/4 final at your place in 09. your lot were utter cnuts for it and I ended up having an altercation with 1 of your stewards becasue of it and then it the pub and on the tube later.

The steward in question actually ran after outside the stadium and made such a cnut of himself, he actuallly got himself arrested. Plenty of your fans in the ground that night were giving it Munich cnuts.

Fair enough - I was at the game and didn't hear any such chants (take it you're talking about the game in 2011). I have heard "Munich this" or "Munich that" said in isolation by the odd one or two people outside the ground, but NEVER inflatable airplanes going round the forecourt, a whole away end singing it as Liverpool did at OT the other year or banners going back decades with it emblazoned on.

I wasn't alive when Chelsea played United in the cup game at the 80's, but have only heard about the game cos we are meant to be have taken a huge following.

You posted pretty much the same the other week, you posted the same on the newbies.
You are a boring little so & so and quite apart from anything else a lot of it is crap anyway.

Get off your pathetic little high horse and give it a rest.

Not all Chelsea fans are the same, just as all LFC fans aren't. We have a huge following despite whichever tier we're put in. Some of that fanbase will be cnuts, simple as. This may be noticeable in proper fanbases like Lfc or Utd.

For cnutishness to be noticeable from a 'minority' of an already miniscule fanbase like Chelsea's does not really give you a stable soap box Rising. Keep calm and wave those flags.

I find it amazing that a club whose fans were responsible for Heysel would fixate on another group of fans waving plastic flags around (funnily enough, they don't mention Spurs, Arsenal, Ajax, Barcelona, Real Madrid and Manchester United doing exactly the same thing).

It shows how far Liverpool have fallen that plastic flags are the biggest "point scoring" your fans can come up with towards a team who have left them for dust (with their VHS's of the 70's) in domestic and European football.
