Not really. Rooney is still the bigger transfer prick.

Suarez has every right to push for a move if what he is saying is true. He wants Champions League football.

Rooney wants to move because he is no longer untouchable, he knows he isn't top dog in the pecking order, he's a moody little money grabbing fecknut. It's not as if Chelsea have more chance of winning things than us.
Rooneys been a cnut. And will eventually move. But he's not been as directly vocal as this guy. Yet.

I knew he was meaning Arsenal, but I refused to play along. ;) If Arsenal can break his scouse bonds, don't be surprised a big team comes in with a similar offer and snatches him. They are probably just allowing Arsenal do the hard work.

Not sure who though. Real Madrid are focused on Bale and don't seem to be overly interested, Monaco and PSG look to have finished their business in regards to top attackers, Barcelona won't go for him since they bought Neymar, and City have enough strikers now. The only other team I can see snatching him from under Arsenal's nose, if they even get Suarez near their body nevermind their nose, would be Chelsea perhaps if we don't sell Rooney to them.

I suppose maybe, but he's been more clever about it this second time round, he's let his agent do the talking, incase he does have to end up staying, as he got enough abuse last time round, he thinks by staying out of the front of the media, he'll get off more lightly. Unlikely.

He would fit in there beautifully.

But I an sure Maureen wants to win the first battle with us, before a ball is even kicked.

Piers Morgan has to be one of the most insufferable football fans in existence. Been slating Wenger for years now, but simply believes that all is forgiven and they'll waltz to trophies with Suarez. As much as Suarez will improve them massively and is the world class attacker they need, his simplistic approach which he thinks is genial, cutting edge opinion is really, really annoying. Arsenal fans must hate him more than the rest of Britain does.

If he goes to Arsenal, I wonder if their fans will also turn into one eyed mentalists when trying to defend his actions.

Suarez and Cazorla would be a good combination going forward especially if Walcott can continue looking good going forward. But like normal, attack isnt really Arsenal's problem

He'll get bored of CL football and proclaim that he wants to win stuff after two years.

Maybe wont win the title, but I think buying Suarez would almost guarantee a top 4 finish. And as we all know, that's the greatest trophy ever invented.

I still can't picture him in our shirt. What a revoltin' development. Can the football just start and all this shit end.

Does this help?

Depends on Bale imo. If he stayed, along with Spurs signings and Arsenal just add Suarez I think it could be very close for 4th

We had the 2nd best defence last year and finished 4th so that would imply the opposite.

Yet you cannot rely on Koscielny and Mertesacker for a whole season. Arsenal don't have much depth in defence and they have conceded too many goals from errors. In fact in every game you just know there will be a hilarious fcuk up somewhere.

Suarez joining won't take Arsenal a level above United, Citeh and Chelsea. It'll just solidify your chances of retaining the fourth place trophy.

I agree, but this doesn't get away from the fact that our priority absolutely had to be a forward this summer, and this is what we're doing. Very happy if we can pull this off.

Your problem was in the big matches. You conceeded 14 goals and scored 10 in your matches against United, Chelsea, City and Spurs.

Maybe you could have done with a couple more goals in the big matches, but you could definitely have done with conceeding less

Looks like Operation: Lovebomb Luis fell flat on its arse.

Defending racism, biting and cheating. He's been talking all summer about how he wants out yet Liverpool fans still give him a standing ovation and Rodgers says everyone "loves him."

fecking hilarious.

I still think Suarez would improve you a lot, but I also think Giroud should be better than he was last season and not miss as many chances. To that end its not like Suarez is clinical

I'm pretty convinced that the biting incident was a deliberate ploy to help along a transfer this summer.

Suarez could score 25 goals next season.

Our problems in the big games were caused by a lack of world class ability which turns those type of games. I would argue it was down to an imbalanced midfield more than anything.

Suarez alone will not win a title. Other signings need to follow but this is a statement of intent. If we see this through, this is a sign that Arsenal are back.

If he is indeed willing to take it to the PFA then what's the need for the public outburst? If he really thinks it can be settled in an 'amicable' way through legal means then so be it. This interview almost sounds like he's begging us to let him leave with no rebuttal.

If Arsenal conceded 37 goals from errors, what did Manchester United concede 43 goals from?

I don't understand why Suarez is a cnut for wanting to improve his career chances. He promised something and delivered. Liverpool should keep their end of the bargain. I don't see clubs being called cnuts for selling players who are not good enough in an effort to do better. Why's the same unacceptable when a player does it?

Last time he bit someone was at Ajax and he never played for them again.

I think that's how they hand transfer requests in Uruguay.

There is actually something in this. I hate Suarez as much as the next guy, but if (big if, its just his side of the story) Liverpool did agree to sell him this summer then it is disloyal for them not to. Players get crucified for lack of loyalty daily, but loyalty is a two way street.

Set pieces? Players shooting outside from the box? Of course there were some errors too.

But Arsenal conceded a higher proportion of goals from errors, according to Opta. And most came in the big games, with Vermaelen at fault (Spurs, United) and even Koscielny at the start of the season (Chelsea). So it isn't illogical to suggest their defence needs fine tuning before anyone can suggest they'll be up there come next season.

And van Persie is the ubercunt delivering little for 6 years and then running his contract down to force the move for a low fee.
