Steven Gerrard

Yes but I don't think the players will really be too bothered by that. If City can somehow win at Goodison, it's their title to lose then.

The fans will though, the atmosphere will be dampened.

These are the exact kind of performances that non-Liverpool supporters have been mentioning for years. The self-importance in the past really made Gerrard a hard player to appreciate when he wasn't scoring wondergoals - particularly for England. For most of this season, he's been quite the captain and team-player (particularly the second half of the season) but that was classic Gerrard for me.

He had to revert to Mr. Hollywood one day didn't he?

My first reaction was karma's a bitch.

Then, with the benefit of a glass of wine, I mellowed a little and started to feel sorry for him.

Then I arrive in this thread, and see the gifs.

Seriously though, can somebody get the 'Moyes is a football genius' banner, photoshop Gerrard and his slippy-sloppy arse there?

Aspas is such a moron he tried copying Gerrard with that corner towards the end.

:D The thread in general is a funny read, all the quotes posted on there from RAWK are more or less identical to the ones posted on here this season.

What was my previous comment in context to? I can't even remember.

Liverpool fans taking delight in United getting pipped by City.

Well first of all I still don't care, today was funny, Liverpool will still probably win the league. I don't have to care to find this utterly hilarious. Secondly, actually that's just it.

Can someone please put that slip on a banner for next year's derby at Anfield if pool lose the title? It would be perfect retribution.

His irresponsible second half performance was just as amusing. Completely lost his head and pretty much cost them any chance of getting back into the game.

I was wondering why Rodgers didn't take him off, but then after all the stupid hype around him in recent weeks I guess it was made impossible to do so without being hung.
