It’s certainly not looking great for him since moving there

There is still zero identity to his team, how he has them play, tactics, nothing

A great player doesn’t always make a great manager but for some reason I felt his aura and personality would be quite good at steering a team forwards but so far at Villa, it’s very stale

Getting sacked wouldn’t be the end for Stevie but Christ it would be a set back

In Gerrard's mind, he's wanting to say something that will take the pressure off his team and put it all onto Chelsea. Instead, his players are probably going to read this and think ''our gaffer doesn't think we can win''. Not a great mindset to take into any game.

I want him to turn it around so Liverpool take a punt in the near future. Unfortunately closest club he’ll end up managing is Tranmere

He will definitely get another Premier League gig. Look at Lampard.

Writing was on the wall after Micheal Beale (his coach) left him to take over QPR. Gerrard said that Beale was the one who would coach the team tactics while he (SG) took a back seat and concentrated on managing the team.

Klopp’s successor getting the sack. Can’t wait for him to take charge at Anfield!

Lampard benefited from the myth we sack managers undeservedly.

That said he's getting a lot more out of his Everton side than Gerrard is his Villa side but the media won't mention that.

Lampard didn't have the quality in his Everton squad. Everton fans should answer how is Lampard doing? They knew their squad and what's their realistic target as well.

Hope he doesn’t get sacked. We need him there for our double header against them.

Reports that he's been sacked. If so, it's about time, they've been total muck under him.

Poch will probably be next in.

Leaves him free to take the Liverpool job. And by that I mean being a pundit on Sky.

You need to give him three years and £200m to spend before you judge him.

At least that’s what I’ve been told by some people on here and in social media.

To the shock of absolutely nobody, Spitty C is awfully quiet on the matter.
as it’s so emotional, he’s been winding up the scouse “ehrm” at the start of his sentence about it. he’s been going for three weeks but it’s still imperceptible to the human ear at this stage.

Didn’t even front up and clap his own fans. Can see why they hate him.

He’ll get the push probably next week when Villa lose away to Newcastle. From there on I can only see Gerard managing in China or the Middle East, he’ll just follow the money iow.
