Turns out when Moyes actually took Ferguson's advice and didn't change the club, he got rid of the good parts and kept the shit ones. Unbelievable that he's not made a change.

Did we sit back for 60 mins? Have we not had decent spells of possession?

Are people on here really our fans or are you all WUMs from other clubs?

I think that 7 shots from both sides with 3 on target, 2 for Shaktar tells the story of a stalemate. On paper we have a great team, yet the fact that we scored a goal and just sat back just gave them the initiative to go and attack us. Good job it wasn't a better team, because if we had played like this against a top side, we would have been losing for sure.

We didn't have more than one chance, so a draw isn't unfair on us.

Right now only one team trying to win it.

Play defensive its ok for such a tough away ground but to manage only one chance a half is really negative and depressing..

Looks like Welbeck now in the hole, Giggs on the left.

Yeah it's shocking that we haven't made a single sub beside Giggs. Nani surely would have been a great option..

We've had such an underdog mentality tonight it's ridiculous. Apart from the first 10 minutes we have played like a European minnow quite frankly. Shaktar are a good side, with a good record at home....but you only have to look at Bayern tonight, and the way they take the game to good opponents in their own back yard, to see how far away we are. It's a difference in attitude, in confidence to go out and really express yourself and impose your game on the opposition.

We seem to have completely lost the ability to do that.

Yeah but you have to understand that were not on Bayern's level and I don't think anyone will argue with that. These "super" powers come and go in cycles. We're almost in a state of transition, so hopefully in 2-3 years we might be at that level.

The way the initiative is going we should really have Chicha in there. Too late now though.

I dont understand some on here.
I think this has been a decent game,a typical United away CL tie.
It was never going to be easy. OK so we have not set the field alight but really who expected us too.
If offered 1-1 before the start of the game, I would of took it in a heat beat.

Genuinely don't understand this.

If we manage a point despite the ref, I consider that somewhat of a victory. That's about the 10th foul he's not given us. None major, but all mistakes.
