Turns out when Moyes actually took Ferguson's advice and didn't change the club, he got rid of the good parts and kept the shit ones. Unbelievable that he's not made a change.
I think that 7 shots from both sides with 3 on target, 2 for Shaktar tells the story of a stalemate. On paper we have a great team, yet the fact that we scored a goal and just sat back just gave them the initiative to go and attack us. Good job it wasn't a better team, because if we had played like this against a top side, we would have been losing for sure.
We didn't have more than one chance, so a draw isn't unfair on us.

Yeah but you have to understand that were not on Bayern's level and I don't think anyone will argue with that. These "super" powers come and go in cycles. We're almost in a state of transition, so hopefully in 2-3 years we might be at that level.
That is not the point. The point is that we have the better side on paper yet we have been playing a style of football that befits a mid-table side that has just scored a goal against a top side and is happy to try and defend it. In Europe, it just doesn't work out like that.
