It's a poor performance. We've not been particularly impressive away from home in Europe for a while but managed to grind out results for a good while (until 2011-12 we were basically perfect), this particular performance has been pretty poor to be fair.

Moyes needs to learn to take a few chances to keep us on the front foot, we need some fresh creativity on the pitch, Giggs is a legend but we can't rely on him in fast paced games like this. It's like Moyes lacks faith in the other half of the squad, Nani, Kagawa for example.
Not justifying, I think that was why there was a booking at all and the only reasonable explanation. The other one is the ref is mental, which isn't far out there either.

Giggs wasn't a bad call. If you want fresh legs for the counter fair enough, bring on Hernandez for RvP or Nani for Welbeck or Valencia. Giggs as a cool experienced head in that midfield made sense.
