I don't usually do draft match writeups, I put them on the thread so that:

1. Drafters actually have a better chance of reading them while bored senseless waiting for their turn

2. It doesn't get lost in the middle of some crapshoot over player positioning, peaks and whatnot

3. It stays next to the pick so if anyone ever researches a drafted player they only need to go to the post when they were picked rather than work out matches they featured in and trawl through them looking for stuff

Must be that when I replied to the roster your tag was already there so I left it. I guess the alert engine doesn't do recycling.

BTW, I notice you took a while anyway, but going forward how does it work when you post picks for the guy right behind you? Moby spared me that problem earlier, but if you posted both together you would get 0? That can't be right, it should be however long it was since the last guy who wasn't leaving picks, no?

@2mufc0 please clarify going forward
 
Who is going to be around for the next 6-7 hours? Ideally someone from the bottom?

He was the fellow Swede I was reviewing when I bumped back into Andersson. I remembered him at Napoli in that messy post-Maradona period but didn't think much of him at Roma to be honest. Couldn't really convince myself and would have gone with Schwarz before him.

Yeah I opened the thread and saw that it’s id turn then posted it and clocked it from that post. Feel free to edit if needed.

Different players him and Schwarz. I'd certainly agree Thern's best form came at Napoli where he was the 3rd highest rated midfielder in the league in 1993/94. And if you look at his international career he really hit the heights at Euro '92 and the 1994 World Cup. In that period up to around 95/96 or so you can really see the energy and range in his game combined with his effective use of the ball. Where I'd agree with you is that towards 30 injuries took their toll, latterly at Roma, affecting his mobility and when he came to Rangers in '97 he only managed about 20 games or so before retiring. By that point his legs had gone, but he moved the ball really well and had a lovely strike on him.

And I won't forget this in an Old Firm derby :drool:

Nah, it's fair enough mate, particularly when the alert didn't work. I was too lazy to remove the user brackets from your tag and assumed it would work tbh.

It is for those leaving the picks behind. My point is: if onenil leaves his picks with EAP, then harms tags him, 3 hours go by and EAP posts onenil's pick (30mins) and his own immediately after. Does he get 0 minutes or 360 (3 hours x2)? Should be the latter. An obvious solution is to not have people taking picks from those immediately before them, handy as it is.

Ah, makes sense. I just couldn't for the life of me muster the will to argue his case when all I could tell was he was good for Napoli but over a brief stint and he put in some lovely assists for Andersson... but not in Serie A. Feck that :lol:, I already get enough grief when I know what I'm talking about.

1. Drafters actually have a better chance of reading them while bored senseless waiting for their turn

2. It doesn't get lost in the middle of some crapshoot over player positioning, peaks and whatnot

3. It stays next to the pick so if anyone ever researches a drafted player they only need to go to the post when they were picked rather than work out matches they featured in and trawl through them looking for stuff

Does he get 0 minutes or 360 (3 hours x2)? Should be the latter. An obvious solution is to not have people taking picks from those immediately before them, handy as it is.

Another solution could be you can't leave PM'd picks with someone 2 or less places away from you in the draft order

Mjj is finally back and unless he picks i will pick in about 3 hours, dont have any names on the shortlist left and i dont have time to search now.
