Serie A 2024/25

If Atalanta weren't playing in Europe I think they'd win the league.

A shame that Gasperini is 66, would probably be in line for a big job if not. Still could.

Atalanta is perfect club for him and I think he knows it as sure he's had some good offers in last five years to move on.

Think he was at Inter Milan around 2011 and didn't last long.

He got the Inter job in 2011 and it ended badly. Think he is one of those managers who suits a club like Atalanta where there is less demands and he can implement his style without any pressure and noise from fans and above when a few results don’t go their way . But agree his football is good to watch. He has had two seasons in Serie A hitting 90 plus goals which is remarkable. Would be interested to see him get the Milan or Roma job as both managers under pressure. But can’t see him leaving Atalanta now. Think he wants to try and win them the league before he retires.

Just saw how incredible close it is at the top so far. If Napoli and Inter draw tonight only 2 points will separate the top 6. Great season so far.

Mctominay yet again.
Nobody should be surprised. Sold him for nothing. I hope those young supporters who wanted him gone understand what we others talked about. There is difference between real football and social media football.

I don’t know, maybe they are so stupid it will be a 1-1 draw and see you next time, amigos. :o

Aaaaaaand… in spite of the usual, late dodgy call for the ndranghs, 1-1 it was! The fun with Conte crying wolf in the post-game presser, only to be called names (Juve related names, w-h-y always them??) by his former lovingly fans.

Anyway, six teams within 2 points and, hopefully, a nice (yet wacky!) race ahead. Goooood!!

It's unreal how Antonio Conte always manages to end up being more pathetic than I remembered.

Napoli just came off a fixture list that consisted of Inter, Milan, Roma, Atalanta and have Lazio in a couple of weeks and are still top of the table. Though I don't think it will last.

Atalanta have Roma and Milan next, huge test for them to see if they are genuine title contenders. Which I do think they are but I also feel they are always a loss away from collapsing.

In the end, Inter will win the title.

Have Roma just got a rubbish team now or something? Think Dybala is still there but seems he's picking up his usual injuries.

Just scanning through the line up that lost to Napoli and I don't recognise half the names....Pisilli, Kone, Faraone, Tasende etc.

So they've gone from a very experience 11 that Mourinho had to loads of kids in a short space of time. Dovbyk was great at Girona last season but guessing he's struggled so far?

Roma as a whole are in shambles. From what I’ve seen, fans are in constant meltdown and despair.

Much better goal difference than Napoli too... I like their squad depth this season

Scalvini and Scamacca to come back also. Yes some decent bench options now. Hopefully they don’t burn out. Would love them to win it.

Hellas Verona close to an acquisition by US investors.

If the deal gets through that would be 10 out of 20 Serie A clubs under US ownership.

I wonder what they see in the league that broadcasters do not...

Anyone watching the fiorentina and Inter match? Game should be postponed. A fiorentina player went down and was quickly rushed of on a stretcher whilst the fiorentina players are all in shock and upset. Praying the player is ok.

Horrific news. Hope he makes a full recovery.

Horrible for Fiorentina after Astori passed away 5-6 years ago. Great to read he's quickly breathing again so hopefully just a scare.

That’s good then. It looked very bad. The players won’t be in the right mind to carry on so it should rightly be rescheduled.

Not sure who to trust in terms of Italian reporters, but there are some who say he’s conscious, alert and breathing on his own.

"Conscious and alert" is the latest report

Game has indeed been post poned

Bove.

And appears to be confirmed he has regained consciousness

Man, such a horrible situation. Hope he recovers well.

Another draw for Juve, not scoring enough goals they have the best defence in the league but have scored the 2nd least in the top 7.
