Seamus Coleman

Amen! The club has lost all respect I have ever had for them.

Same here. I feel ashamed that I rooted for them in all neutral games before this year.

Everton dropping out of top ten in the next two years and fighting relegation with in the next four would make me very happy.

I hope you feel ashamed to post on Redcafe too, and it's demise would make you happy considering your own fans on this forum have wanted your club to lose, have abused Moyes, and have said some pretty disgusting things about him, in comparison to us giving a bit of banter to him and telling him he'll be sacked. Funnily enough, he was.

They are all on my ignore list.

I did not make the post based on the reaction in a particular game.

He's excellent, but it does annoy me when the media decide a player is having a good season all of a sudden they can do no wrong. He heads the ball into the corner of his own net, yet all the commentators can say is he was sold short by the CB. Not that ghe CB couldnt have done more, but not to blame Coleman for that at all is a bit silly.

Yeah that's silly. He's been excellent this season but this was a bad day at the office. His crossing has been a bit poor overall and the OG was quite bad (though Stones did get in his way I think).

I think both Stones and Coleman made mistakes there. They both may need to sharpen up defending in the air

Fantastic again tonight against Chelsea, comfortable with both feet, fast, powerful and good at both ends of the pitch., If Rafael can't sustain fitness this season I think he should be a main target for us next season.

Super player yes. A shame Moyes didn't go for him instead of Fellaini.

Part of a defence that conceded 6, one of them his own goal. Not fantastic today by any means. Looked good going forward though, excellent crosses.

Brilliant going forward. Wish he was a RWB at United. Probably wasn't his best game defensively but he is quality.

Perhaps not you, but a good number of posters were cringing at the thought of Moyes signing more Everton players last season...

Considering how Baines, Gibson, P Nev, Howard and Fellaini played there when compared to how they played at other clubs then you can't really blame them.

Barkley and Coleman would have been the two players I would have been interested in. Instead Baines and Fellaini were the two being linked.. Moyes had no judgement.

Would be a great right back or right wing back for us. Must be one of the fittest players in the league to get up and down that side so much.

He was average defensively against Chelsea and even worse against Arsenal. Never gets any stick for it though

Baines is the best left back in the league at this moment in time! But agree would take those two in a heartbeat at United!!

Fantastic going forward, yes. Obviously not great defensively though.
Not fantastic then. What use is it being good going forward when your team concede 6 goals? He's a full back, and his defending so far this season has been very suspect to say the least. I suppose, he scores goals so lets forget about his flaws.

Baines is one of those players who looks great at Everton but would be poor elsewhere where there is more pressure. His performances for England said it all, overrated and ideal for Everton as that is his level.. similar to Fellaini who was brilliant for the toffees.

Barkley and Coleman have something about them which suggests they can play at a higher level.

Good for Fantasy Football but wouldn't want him here. Good at going forward, can't defend.

Fantastic when his team conceded 6  yeah sure.

the first two goals were baines and jagielkas fault for playing/seemingly playing costa/ivanovic onside. coleman was the only defender who in both cases made sure he played the forward-most player offside.

the third goal/own goal was mcarthys fault for letting hazard past him (which coleman didnt allow all evening) not coleman who was marking fabregas.

the 4th goal was a great strike by matic. he wasnt closed down by distin and jagielka (who was v poor all evening). coleman in fact did very well to spot the danger in the form of ramires lurking on the shoulder of the last defender since mccarthy had lost him as he snuck into the box.

mcarthy again was at fault for the 5th as he didnt track ramires again. coleman stuck with his man (costa) in case ramires pulled it back instead of going on his own, colemnan would have done his job and blocked it.

the last goal was obv besic's fault (who btw also looks like hes a proper player)

he assisted mirallas's headed goal and made the opportunity with which mirallas drew an increadible save/hit the post.

so please watch the game and then write. coleman was amazing throughout.

Yup. The Caf is very pro-Everton, for some reason. At the time of the WC, Jagielka was apparently some distance ahead of Smalling and Jones and deserved his spot as first choice.
