Could have used him today.
Meanwhile his actual team lose 3-0 at home
Could have used him today.
Classic McTHit the post and was crucially dispossessed in the lead up to Atalanta's third.
He really really really really really isn't.So happy for him. He keeps showing why some of us wanted to keep him. Same level as some of 100m Premier League players that changed clubs last couple of seasons. We made big mistake.
This poster has been parroting this rubbish for a while. He really really really really really isn't.

He is probably considering Antony, Sancho and MaguireHe really really really really really isn't.
Nobody can say that players like Caicedo or Rice are better central midfielders. Better in some aspect of the game but not looking at whole picture. What have they done comparing to McTominay? He really really really really really isn't.
Getting rid of him was one of the few things we've done right. Rashford next pleaseSo happy for him. He keeps showing why some of us wanted to keep him. Same level as some of 100m Premier League players that changed clubs last couple of seasons. We made big mistake.
Don't bite...Nobody can say that players like Caicedo or Rice are better central midfielders. Better in some aspect of the game but not looking at whole picture. What have they done comparing to McTominay?
Hes been decent with a couple of goals, but hes playing the most advanced of a midfield 3 which is essentially Bruno's role for us. Even off form at the start of the season Bruno is better
Eriksen has been a good, goalscoring backup and addition. If we include cups hes scored more than McTom whilst being better in general play
I dont think it really is. There are just more holding players so not as big of a deal if he doesnt do a lot with the ball or isnt back to defend. He would get ahead of the ball and into the box at UnitedYou have to give him his flowers for adjusting to a more advanced position than the one he held at United
This is really some top tier WUMing. I'm itching to write an essay in response. Bravo!Nobody can say that players like Caicedo or Rice are better central midfielders. Better in some aspect of the game but not looking at whole picture. What have they done comparing to McTominay?

This is such a crap way of judging him, because he scored he played well.So happy for him. He keeps showing why some of us wanted to keep him. Same level as some of 100m Premier League players that changed clubs last couple of seasons. We made big mistake.
On a side note, it’s quite funny to see this thread bumped the same day that Ugarte made the same amount of touches, passes and tackles that McT would rack up in an average two matches combined.

Rice shouldn’t ever be mentioned in the same sentence as Caicedo.Caicedo and Rice are better central midfielders.
Thats what some fans look at. And the player instantly becomes second coming of Pele after being moved on from the club. This is such a crap way of judging him, because he scored he played well.

Caicedo is the best midfielder in the league.

Commentator said “against the run of play” Sounds like a standard McT in midfield performance. I don’t enjoy hating on him but the rewriting of history when he shows he can continue to nick a few goals, now he’s in a lower quality league, is a bit silly.
Anyhoo. Happy for him. Don’t feel this way about all our ex players but really want this move to work out for him.
