I'm there with you.

Back in Jan 2020, I said I won't watch United as long as we refuse to buy an AM and keep playing Lingard and Pereira. We bought Bruno, thank God.

I'm not going to watch United anymore while he starts for us.
I go into every game thinking we're going to play better, he'll actually get on the ball and be able to control the football. He never does, so I just blame myself for expecting more at this point.

Soucek completed 11 passes, won 4 headers and made a couple of tackles, he is basically an inferior version of McT.

His passing wasnt very good, but everything else was a lot better than McTom today

4 aerials and won 3 fouls which is more productive than mctom

It’s hilarious there are Utd fans who think he is worth 50m, wouldn’t even get in that West Ham team. If he doesn’t score his contribution is almost non existent but manager doesn’t have guts to sub him off.

There are people in here who thinks he's worth twice that.

We should have snatched their hands off if they were offering 25 million and up which I think they were? Maguire has his uses but McT is just a battering ram.

Fred was 5 times the player.

To put it in simple words, I do not think he would’ve even made Westham’s bench if he played for them

Intelligent player. Decides to not make himself available for the ball incase he makes a mistake like Mainoo did. You can't teach that

Genuinely don’t remember him touching the ball. When did he go off?

34 passes in 90 minutes in a game where we dominated possession for decent periods. You basically have 10 men in the build-up
its not even shocking anymore is it, you know what you get with him. i cant get wound up.

If he played for Dunfermline would he look out of place?

Would any bigger club come along and scout him?

No. But 160 appearances for United.

Helped West Ham score there first when he headed the ball at Garnacho from 2 yards away.

He is a poor footballer who has the nack of scoring. Ten Hag needs to see the bigger picture and realize that he and Bruno don't work together.

ETH clearly picking him as hes a goal threat in a team who can not score, we shouldn't be in this position and scott should be on the bench.

He can't ever start, much less when Bruno is in the lineup. His sole purpose is as a sub you bring on when you're down or level late and desperate for a randomly magical goal.

Said it a million times, either needs to be a striker or not play. He's good defensively and at scoring, unfortunately he lacks the the actual skills to play the position in between those two areas

Just because it didn't work out for him today isn't a reason he won't play 90 against Villa. In fact it seems there is nothing that will make Eric consider other options. He seems to be his biggest fan.

I’d pay good money to never watch him play again for us. It’s times like this I miss a player like Pogba, people used to moan and moan and often underrate his performances but the one thing he gave me was some actual joy watching football. It was a pleasure to see his talent on display (even if inconsistently). McTominay is the opposite, he sucks any joy out of the game and watching a player like him is just miserable with very little upside.

It seems to be totally unnoticed how shite he is from commentators and pundits. Every game he's being lavished with praise with it claimed he's having a brilliant season when no one can see he's such a massive problem

This! It does my head in. Surface level analysis. "Oh he's scored a few, he's done well." They completely ignore how badly his limitations affect the team.

For every two minutes of good work (where he scores) you get hundreds of minutes where our midfield is wide open and it's like playing with 10 men. Doesn't seem like a good exchange to me.

It is like you take the criticism you can say about Bruno, then multiply the negatives from Bruno by about 10 and divide the positives by about 30.

Absolutely. He was gutless today. Has no intention to actually get us playing. His goal threat is all he has, and when that's snuffed out, he's a Championship player, and an average one at that. He seems perfectly happy to let the game, many, many games in fact, just pass him by.

Talks a good game but an absolutely nothing player. For him to be a first choice attacking midfielder at the moment speaks volumes for the man who continues to pick him.

All he seems to be focused on is to pass the ball to the nearest team mate, never mind if West Ham has it all sussed out already because hey, past completion + not losing the ball = great stats. Absolutely gutless. Dreadful player.

Can't blame him though. He's not the genius who keeps on selecting himself to start and finish every game.

It’s carbon copy to what it was like with Lingard a few years ago, when he was completely out of his depth but was immune to criticism and got labelled with the ‘young player’ tagline

Best seat in the house for WHU's first goal. The opposition's most creative player is in the right half-space, ready to execute... Should i be alert? Nah, feck it. "Proper United character", my arse. The invisible midfielder personifying yet another failed managerial tenure

The manager keeps picking him and that's the only excuse I can give him, because he shouldn't be at the club

30 million lost that could've got an actual midfielder or actual striker to help ease burden for hojlund
Our fanbase, like our transfer team are deluded. There was posters here that thought he was worth 50 million and some thinking he is as good as Rice. When that kind of nonsense is spouted its no wonder he's still here.

It's Lingard all over again. Shit players who only ever got a chance because they were in the academy, and become regulars because 1. they scored the occasional goal. 2. Our recruitment is so shit everyone we buy becomes deadwood

McTominay is the sort of academy player you sell off for pure profit in his early 20s, thus meaning we're not fecked by FFP.

Club is run by morons and the team is managed by a moron

Lingard was a better player throughout most of his time here. It was only in the final year or two that it all went to shit for him.
