Turnover not takeover
He's a Lancastrian, born in LancasterPlus he's Scottish. So it's good we kept him. It's like the Starks and Winterfell, there should always be a Scotsman in Old Trafford.

We are 10th.Reality check.
We are lower mid table team.
Casemiro
Amrabat Scotty
will be the best midfield in the universe.

It is a legit point I guess but reading this is kind of sad... a scrappy league win against Brentford is something you will remember for years and years? I guess, being in the stadium and such was a stunning experience I guess. But in the big picture...Why is it nonsense? He literally provided us with a memory we'll remember for years and years to come.

or Rashford winning it in the last minute vs. West Ham the other year.
Whereas he's at side 11th from bottom, where he clearly doesn't belong. The one good game Scott has played in 30 matches and the usual comes around, how I'm glad we kept him nonsense and should get a run in the team and he's a good player.
He is utter Scutter and belongs at a bottom 10 club in the league at best.
A plastic one if you ask Keano, he never let Mick McCarthy forget he wasn't a proper Irishman...Bravo, we all know that. But he plays for Scotland so...he's also Scottish?

WInning a game we were losing in the 90th minute - first time we've done it in Prem history? Yeah I'll remember that.
I still have incredibly fond memories of Park Ji Sung winning it in the last minute vs. Wolves... or Rashford winning it in the last minute vs. West Ham the other year. Dramatic last winners stick with you... and this was definitely in the upper tier of memorability

This may sound cheesy but it is genuine: I am really happy for you guys. It shows that I am probably watching with the wrong mindset at the minute as I can't really enjoy such moments right now. I am a follower not for such a long time, I started watching a game here and there around 2006, 2007 I've seen all of them and thats the story until today and I can remember some moments, Macheda goal, Scholes screamer, Terry miss, Lights out in Craven Cottage, 8-2, Hargreaves suprise start on New Year only to be subbed injured after a couple of minutes, Owen Goal against City, 3-2 Community shield with Nani... So many moments, but to be perfectly honest, this kind of dwindled in Fergies last two season and it never came back through all the other managers... Would be a potentially interesting self talk - do I take it too serious, is the joy gone... But enough of that, thanks for sharing your thoughts. And you are right, just because I can't appreciate moments like that shouldn't make me call them sad.Yep. Bruce late double v Sheff Weds lives with us over 30 years on. Although McTominays double won’t be helping us win the league like Bruce’s did, the opponents are irrelevant for moments like that

The only wow factor in this season was RVP. And when I think for focussed, there probably were a few great goals and I think one close match against City with an RVP goal (wasn't it the deflected one of Nasri?) but thats about it. I think, we started to look slower and slower that season (no wonder with key players getting older) and iirc, games became more and more boring things where we didn't create anything of note but brought in the results because we'd win 2-0 by the genius of RVP or Rooney but the matches probably ended 0.4 xG. But, again, I was just watching in front of a screen, I am sure a live experience had more effect.Seem to remember Fergie's last season was full of those moments tbh. Was like a love letter to all of the great comebacks and an FU to City for the Aguero moment in one season.

I've been saying this for 2 years at least. McTominay can be many things, but a midfielder doing midfielders things he is not.Of all the central midfielders I’ve seen who have played at this club I think he is the one who looks the least like an actual central midfielder
