Geez, it's just the perfect timing...Pogba barely comes back and now McT is out for some time.
Hoping we’ve got Soumaré lined up this JanuaryThe fear is McTominay has suffered knee ligament damage FFS, the club can't buy break after a win.
....better at heading the bal maybe. Fred is the much better midfielder though - pivot or not - and has been incredibly consistent this season. Definitely more than 4 to 5 games in other words.Mctominay is so much better than Fred in the double pivot, and on balance better than pogba this season too. Fred has had 4 or 5 good games but mctominay has been out most important player and only real leader for much of the season - Fred looked lost without a few weeks ago
Still...a new player from another league needs time to acclimatise himself. Will he be afforded such time?Hoping we’ve got Soumaré lined up this January
Wow a player who’s arguably been our best player this season hits a dip in form and The knifes are out. He then plays a half injuried where he may have ligament damage and people conclude that he’s not good enough anyway so we should use this to “upgrade”I hope we go for a proper midfielder to play next to Fred. This could be a big chance for us to finally upgrade our midfield.
It s called knee jerking That s what inspires most posts over hereWow a player who’s arguably been our best player this season hits a dip in form and The knifes are out. Same bloke just described Fred as incredibly consistent so safe to discount anything he saysWow a player who’s arguably been our best player this season hits a dip in form and The knifes are out. Hard to look into it when he was playing through a severe knee injuryThought the booking was harsh.
It didn’t stop him flying into tackles after. A bit careless at times with possesion.
If the start of the season and end of last season is anything to go by I ament banking on it. We need a totally different pogba than the last 9 months. Mctominay playing would have helped me a lot in my viewBeen excellent this season so far, perhaps just dropped a little in the last two or three games, so may have needed a short break, but unfortunately looks like it could be a little longer. Fingers crossed that he's back soon and raring to go. Not entirely happy with Pogba in his place for the next few games probably, we will possibly not be so good defensively, but hopefully will create s lot more chances.
The way that post was written was as though this was the opportunity united needed to get another player in. And I found that disgusting given it’s one of our youth players who’s a starter in the team and one of our “fans” is happy that he’s out.We need to upgrade many positions man, and CM is certainly one of them.
That doesn't mean McTom hasn't had a good season and isn't a very useful player to have.
I don't think he's been anywhere near our best player this season, and we went into the Newcastle game in 8th place. Nothing to write home about.Wow a player who’s arguably been our best player this season hits a dip in form and The knifes are out. And that’s down to Scott?I don't think he's been anywhere near our best player this season, and we went into the Newcastle game in 8th place. Nothing to write home about.
With our injury luck I'm not surprised if he's out for the rest of the season.Knee ligaments are at best case 3 months on the sidelines, that's just if its sprained. If he's ruptured it then he's looking at 7-9 months depending if there meniscus damage.
I'm no expert, but Health Harvard says:Knee ligaments are at best case 3 months on the sidelines, that's just if its sprained. If he's ruptured it then he's looking at 7-9 months depending if there meniscus damage.
I'm no expert, but Health Harvard says:
""How long a knee sprain lasts depends on the type of knee sprain, the severity of your injury, your rehabilitation program and the types of sports you play. In general, milder Grade I and Grade II MCL or LCL sprains heal within 2 to 4 weeks, but other types of knee sprains may take 4 to 12 months."
I don't think you can say he's been our best player. AWB has done his job better than McTominay. Rashford has had bigger highs than McTominay. I would put them above Scott.Wow a player who’s arguably been our best player this season hits a dip in form and The knifes are out. Stupid throwing his legs into those challenges
Exactly. We loose Pogba or Fred to injury now and we’re seriously fecked. This means we're now going to have Pogba back in CM with the continual rotation of Lingard & Pereira at #10..

This. Having completely torn my acl and lcl and partially torn my mcl and pcl (all in one fun injury, mind), I can assure you there’s a world of difference on how long you heal depending on which ligament you hurt and how bad the sprain is.I'm no expert, but Health Harvard says:
