6) Ajax 366

14) Crvena Zvezda Beograd 262.5
15) Celtic 262.0
16) Glasgow Rangers 260.5

Only twelfth, behind Benfica, Anderlecht and Liverpool :wenger:

Team with most points in the 60's was Real, in the 70's Liverpool and Ajax, 80's Real, 90's Juve and 00's Real...

After this season the rankings will prolly be: Real, Juve, Barca, Bayern, Milan, Ajax, Inter, Anderlecht, Benfica, Liverpool and then UTD.

Dazama's link includes UEFA and the CWC, results.

There's no way Barca would total anywhere near that much, had it only included European Cup/CL results.....

Look, the best thing is to look at the UEFA Coefficients, that show how well a team did in the last five years. We have been 2nd in that list for about 3 years now, which means that we have been ranked by UEFA as the 2nd best team in Europe over 8 years.

We are also the ONLY teams to reach the knockout phases of the competition every season over the last 8 years.

Either you're lacking in intelligence, or you're just missing the point on purpose.

He's entitled to want to go to a better club, and put in a transfer request.

But having done so, if the club rejects offers, it's entitled to do so and Saha is obligated to take this on the chin and not go to the press, whinging and whining. He signed a contract til 2006 and should be prepared to see it out, continuing to act professionally and do everything in his power to increase the fortunes of Fulham Football Club and not act in a way that is to the detriment of the club. By going to the press and moaning, he is not doing what he is obligated to do.

If you or I (well, when you get a job) were in this position and went to the press, criticising our boss for his actions, we'd be disciplined and we wouldnt just get what we wanted.

Basically, Saha knows the power of players in these cases and used it to his full advantage, without a care in the world for the club that made him such a famous name. Disloyal, unprofessional and downright pathetic.

Funny how you choose to ignore the fact that, United fans aside, most football fans now seem to have lost respect for him. Just coincidence that, is it?

what a sanctimonious load of crap.....fulham still had the power they had his contract and could have continued to say no, in a couple of weeks transfer window closed and saha was stuck he either played his best for fulham and hoped for good move in future or rotted in reserves. But as every one knew would happen Fulham (while protesting how badly they had been treated) grabed the cash as all these clubs do. All the protests are for driving up price and convincing the public and even more their own supporters how hard they had fought the big evil predator clubs.

Why the last five years, and not the last 15 years or the last two years?

Face it Weastie, United don't have a great EC/CL record.

Yeah ok. SO?

And Juve have reached the final four times in the last 8 years.

And Real Madrid have won it 3 times in the last 8 years.

:annoyed:

How naive do you have to be to think that Fulham could really benefit from keeping the brat, after the show he put on to the press?

Means sod-all mate.

Do you get a trophy for reaching the knock out phase?

You simply cannot compare 6 finals/4 finals, to United's one.

As Sudesi said too, Madrid have won it 3 times in 8 years, which puts you 'reached the knockout stage' 'achievement' into the shade.

Dont get a trophy maybe but we do get the extra revenue though. Thats one of the reasons why we make £35 mill profit a season to say Liverpools £3mill...

Hmmm...a Man Utd fan putting money before trophies....

Sums up your club really, doesnt it?

I would rather have loads of money and no success for a couple of years rather than being in massive debt and no cash and a few trophies here and there.

With money at least you can buy some young talent to provide the success whereas you have a few pots here and there and have to sell off your best players soon.

Football is all about $$$ these days

But you've been spending for years, and still only one CL final since the ban was lifted to show for it.

Whatever happens, whatever you spend, you cannot guarantee more European Cups, whereas we have them, we did it - no one can take it away from us.

Another fan brainwashed by the corporate machine.

We've been spending for years, but we also brought up some excellent players through the youth system, even in the 80s.

You can't possibly win a few trophies without spending, if you put a transfer embargo on all clubs, I am sure the quality of football will detiorate.

I'll ask you the question:

30 million per year and virtually CL qualification guranteed or 10 million a year with CL qualification not really safe?

I'd rather take 4 Euro Cups safely in the cabinet, rather than money to MAYBE win more. Your problem is that Madrid and Chelsea can outspend you, so if money is what you're relying on, prepare to be disappointed.

I couldnt care less about money, football is about trophies.

We have them, nothing will alter that. Whether you match us, remains to be seen.

The two arent mutually exclusive... IF we cant win i would rather we get as far as possible and the money always comes in useful. Its what being successful is all about, solid roots, and you cant have that without money. Of course i would prefer the trophy, its twatish to think i wouldnt.. :wenger:

I did not mention the benefit of selling you said all the power was with the player which is completely wrong the power is with the selling club and they always take the money.

How does it feel being outspent by Chelsea and Madrid.
You'll never get 4 Euro cups -ever. :)

I couldn't care how much other clubs spend...

All I care about is how we perform - and we do perform much, much better than Liverpool - which of course is the norm these days...

We have memories of 4 European Cups.

You have memories of 2.

:D

Memories are good to have to occasionally look back at

What's even better, is having a team that's CURRENTLY competing for the top honours and trophies...

There's no 'ifs' here.

One final appearance in a decade and a half - facts speak for themselves.

You might catch up - then again, you might not.

Points in the bag or games in hand?

Its a what have you done for me lately world and you haven't won more than a the mickey mouse treble since before the Cold War ended. Sucks to be you. And yes, if the current trend continues we'll be far ahead of you in another few years.
