Hates Messi
He's not United class, no thanks.
If we're striving to compete with Real Madrid and PSG we have to be thinking bigger and more ambitiously.
Real still makes signings like Asenjo, Ceballos, etc.

Yeah, I think we need to make the occasional small investment in up and coming promising youngsters. They can't be our big buys, but having one a year or so to compliment our big signings like Pogba, Lukaku, etc. Is a smart move. He's just turned 17 ffs and had a fantastic season. Wonder what you were thinking of Dele Alli at the time.
There's no harm in investing in a kid. Besides, with Luke Shaw's track record we may actually need him.

I don't understand anyone whose actually watched him not rating him and being unable to see the bundles of potential he clearly has.
Yeah, such an obvious WUM. Every comment is something ridiculous but people haven't caught on yet I guessDon't feel the troll, not sure how's not been banned yet. He's always wumming.

He's only just turned 17, I'd be surprised if he's still at Fulham in 5 years time. But you're right that he needs to develop still, we should definitely loan him back for a season if we signed him. They might not be as willing to play him though.Surely a better option than Darmian (good player but not fast) and Shaw(Injury prone) He should stay at fulham though. Smart to develop there and move only when he's 22 or 23

There has been stories all summer linking him with moves to big clubs, literally all summer.
Didn't Fulham have another kid named Roberts who was supposed to be the next big thing and completely disappeared now?
He's at City. Was on loan at Celtic last year and played quite well.
@Panixs, a newbie, has this to say:
Hello Fulham fan here you so I hope you don't mind me posting this and giving a bit of insight from our side. We are in a bit of a catch 22 with Ryan at the moment, do we sell now for a decent fee for a up and coming prospect or wait a few years and potentially get a massive fee if he does well or less if he doesn't progress. I see people make comparisons to Bale all the time and I see what they are getting at his worst position is probably LB and he gets better the further forward he plays, so LWB and AML are perfect for him. I think with time he will start moving further forward and not even be considered a LB, Not sure how this positioning would fit with your current tactics etc.
His pace is ridiculous even watching from the stands sometimes I lose track of him and suddenly he's at the other end of the pitch bursting past the oppositions fullback. I think he would prefer to stay local as all his family is from around here and his twin brother (a RB) plays for our academy as well. If your option to buy has the offer to loan back even if its just one season I think our board would favour that but we have just signed Rafa Soares on loan for a year so that might have been a preemptive move on our part knowing Ryan is going elsewhere.
Would be a good signing. Might also negotiate with Spurs if we're after Rose, to not compete for his acquisition.
Well, perhaps. But he might be very reluctant to move so far away from London, which would be understandable for a 17 year-old.
Not if he has a chance to force himself into the team at United. Highly doubt that. So how about that wager, you think you'll finish above us this season?
I'm not betting anymore on this forum. Two of the posters against whom I've won bets then disappeared without paying. Not saying that you would, but twice bitten three time shy.

If the price is the choice of a tagline, it's hard to escape paying up..
Name and shame!
@Insanity was one. The other goes back a while and I can't be bothered to dig out their name.
Surely competition to sign him will be incredibly fierce if it's obvious he's a potential superstar. That it seems there's not a huge amount of interest suggests not everyone in footballing circles agrees with you.
Like I said though, if Jose does want him then I won't be mouthing on here against it. So far his signings for us have been quite magnificent.
5thHe would be a perfect 4th signing
Buy then loan back?
