Russian invasion of Ukraine | Fewer tweets, more discussion

Everything currently happening around Bakhmut indicates that Ukraine tries to deepen the rift between Wagner and the MoD. One should take this story with a grain of salt as it might just be psyops.

As insane as this war criminal is, I don't really believe he wanted to commit treason. He loves his status and life too much, aims maybe at a high political career. It wouldn't surprise me if that information is spread by his foes in Russia or even Ukraine to widen the rift between Wagner and the Russian MoD.
But it doesn't really matter if it's the truth or not in the end. The distrust in him grows and that is good for Ukraine.

"Russia must not win this war". This pathetic bootlicker is still afraid to say Russia must lose this war. It wouldn't surprise me, if his former teacher wife probably advises him what to say.

Is he still taking phone calls from Putin? Surely, even Macron must be tired of the KGB-agent's paranoid ramblings by now.

No doubt which one of Scholz, Macron and Sunak Zelenskyy likes the most

On this day (almost) 79 years ago, Allied forced liberated Sevastopol. Not totally relevant but fascinating video.

Around 150,000 Russian troops currently present in southern Ukraine. No mention of troop numbers for eastern Ukraine.

Around 152,000 Russian troops are currently stationed in temporarily occupied territories in southern Ukraine, in Zaporizhzhia and Kherson oblasts, preparing to defend their positions against the expected Ukrainian counteroffensive.

Would love to know if the Russians fighting in Bakhmut now are still Wagner or traditional forces.

I would assume that Bakhmut city is still Wagner's zone and the flanks are Russian military which are now crumbling. There wasn't any news that Wagner actually retreated. As a matter of fact, they still hard press on the last Ukrainian held area and obliterate just any remaining building under Ukrainian control. The smaller Ukrainian area gets in Bakhmut, the easier it is shelling them sadly. At some point, Ukraine has to retreat from there instead of being sitting ducks for Wagner's artillery. Provided there won't be a counteroffensive soon.

I am really having a hard time believing that the sanctions are really working and are hurting Russia as much as some say it does.
