Rugby Union Discussion - Six Nations Time

I think he's just shit? That call in Ireland there was very harsh.

Nah he is bent, initially he was very good but over time he started to be very one sided within games. Nowadays the lad can't ref a half without screwing over a team.

Ive criticised Prendergast’s kicking from the tee before and it might make the difference as this game looks like it’s going to be tight

His style of kicking just doesn't look robust enough.

It's fine when his confidence is high, but it's way too easy for it to collapse when the pressure is on.

He needs to build a much stronger routine that's repeatable under all conditions.

feck me the cnut gave us a standard bread and butter penalty advantage. I take it all back

Yeah he’s weirdly straight-on to the ball and posts. Looks like it’s made for hooking it

That's it, isn't it?
He always looks like that hook is on.
Way too easy for yips to creep into each kick.
Surely someone at Leinster/Ireland can get hold of him and sort it out. I actually really like the rest of his game, but this is always going to cast a shadow, partly because you don’t have another kicker to take the duties (like having a Ramos at full back would make it a non-issue)

BoD has a good point on comms - that Irish try is as much on steward overrunning the line on JPG as it is on Mitchel
